Life Of Lead Short Film
December 30, 2018 by lancorz
With Christmas holidays coming to a close, I'm sure many of you possibly had the chance to open up some metal goodies, perhaps you're already painting or gaming with them.
Life of Lead takes us behind the scenes with Eureka Miniatures from JMC Academy to see what goes into building those little tiny soldiers we all love so much. It's incredible the fine detail and arrangement of production that goes into the final results plus seeing them battle on the tabletop combined with some awesome sound effects can only get you in the mood to get your games ready for the New Year.
What have you learned today?

Nic at Eureka is a thoroughly nice chap
now that’s a nice peace of wark.
Now that’s a nice piece of work
That was fun. Shared with gaming friends. Well done.
Nice little film.
waterloo two.
I’ve learned someone makes a 1930s style movie camera and film crew . Which company is it ? Need the camera for a German WW2 propaganda picture diorama
Eureka makes them

Thank you . Thought it might be as the video was about them , but wanted to be sure before I spent hours surfing the web finding all sorts of neat figures to order that I don’t really need . This camera crew I need
Stirring stuff, more please!
I must say that was awesome !
Keen to see the back end of production as fine as it is. I wonder how well the molds are holding up with so much use.
The moulds aren’t that expensive so it’s cost effective to make new ones regularly. From memory you get about 200-300 spins from a mould before it needs replaced
Wonderful film and some interesting insights into the production process. Thanks a lot.
At last a show on how its done, nice to see the process from start to finish.
Inspiring
Very good film. ‘We’ need to see more of these shorts.
