Let’s Play: Wild West Exodus – 700pt Game
July 23, 2018 by dignity
Playing the Hex and the Union, Darren from Warcradle Studios and our very own Justin duel it out in a 700pt game of Wild West Exodus.
The guys are playing on a very cool wild west themed table and running a treasure hunt scenario that will have them searching objectives on the board to find and secure the most treasure in 5 rounds.
How do you like the organised play kit chips?
Where did you get the dice roller? It’s nice and small and foldable for easier storage.
I’d like to see Daren paint the new Divine Intervention box set.
Show us those flourescent paints in action, please!
Awesome game … I am only half way through but loving this. Cheers lads
Really enjoyed that. 700 points worked really well. I’d love to see him paint Dixie Resurrection – they look awesome
Great video, I really do like the look of Wild West Exodus.
Interesting format, I hope we can see you guys play the next level.
The faction I’m looking to get is The Deadly Seven, it looks like it has lots of very interesting characters and units within it.
As for what to ask Darren to paint, well I’m easy, I would enjoy any content.
The Deadly Seven aren’t actually a faction. They are a posse/crew that belongs mostly to the Outlaw faction but can be taken in a other factions forces (in this particular configuration).
Great game guy`s, will be re-watching this one again. Loving Wild West Exodus, especially the Warrior Nation. I really enjoy the “Lets Plays”, they look a lot of fun to play………….Just the way games are meant to be played.
Have to say, i wasn’t thinking about picking up this game but i really enjoyed this play through. I will now have to have a look at the factions available and make a difficult choice.
If you can’t decide which faction you want to jump into, you can’t go wrong with the Red Oak Starter set.
It provides you with two bosses, two faces (each one for the Outlaws and the Lawmen) plus two Gundogs and two Attack Dogs (which in turn can be used in a variety of factions) and comes with the needed rules material.
And the price point is really cheap.
It’s especially great for when you want to pull off some demo games in your local store.
Excellent video – loving me some WWX.
I would buy a front row seat for a Daren painting tutorial. I’d like to see him do his airbrush and ink speed method on some of the smaller models (e.g. lawmen or outlaw troops). His “speed paint” is absolutely awesome.
one more comment, this video was great but for the scenary, I think the need stone walls instead of concrete and some wooden picket fences, the old west kind. I think that would have made this really spectacular.
