Let’s Play: War For The Planet Of The Apes

Justin is joined in the studio by Martin and Laurent from WYSIWYGames to show off War For The Planet of the Apes: The Miniatures Board Game.
Taking on the role of the apes in this cooperative game, the scenario the guys play through sees the apes having to defend an objective from the A.I controlled humans. What is interesting to see in this game is not just the quality miniatures but also the verticality of the board with the trees. Special movement options are available to players so their apes can climb and swing between the trees.

I’m guessing they missed the February 28th date mentioned at the start of the video and that this video being released now suggests the KS is imminent?

Wow that was a good game. I was first thinking that there was some balance issues but in the end it actually seemed well balanced and highly dependent on the consequences of single decisions.
The gameplay looks interesting, though i want to see more of the rules before deciding. The miniatures, trees and concept I do love.
