Let’s Play: Joan of Arc – Battle Mode
May 20, 2019 by dignity
Justin crosses swords with Leo from Mythic Games in an epic confrontation between light and dark in Joan of Arc.
The guys are playing the battle mode version of the game with Leo heading up the forces of light, resplendent with their angelic soldiers. As the resident beast, Justin is controlling the forces of evil with Mythic Games' Beast miniature looming over the entire table. Of all the objectives they could be playing, the guys have settled on annihilation so get ready for some battles!
Which of the two forces would you most like to take control of?
Either will be fine for me.It won’t be too long now before i get my JoA delivered into my waiting hands
Shocking change of mind from @dignity at 33.00 ( or thereabouts ).I know it’s only casual and Leo’s nice enough to let it go,but dude, really….
You should have seen what he did in the Core Space video, he’s becoming the “bad boy” of wargaming 😀
i was watching and thinking the exact same thing. i think the subtitles the guys edited in are very fitting 😛
Are the lovely miniatures going to be available separately?
a great game with fantastic figures.
Justin just rolls until he gets the result he wants i crown you Justin King Beardy .Would love to see Justin lose on camera to the mighty Warzan would be sooooo epic.
Leo is very kind to just let Justin roll that change through…best sportsmanship award!
Here here, and so Leo we hereby dub thee.
Waiting for my game to arrive. And these vids are really cool.
Yay for the lonely angel at the end – however I think Justin forgot to roll for Terror to maybe stop that attack – too caught up in the narrative, which isn’t a bad thing.
Justin did forget to roll for terror in the last attack of the single angel. He could have also done something at the beginning of the round that would have changed everything : take an interruption flag instead of a replay one. That would have let him take back his rally point playing after the gryphe went to the sky!!
Alpha strike tries to strike again but luckily saintly Leo put an end to the beastly justin! it’s interesting watching justin play because he does just go out to utterly annihilate someone.
