January 22, 2018 by dignity
I'm sitting down with Leo and Benoit from Mythic Games to talk about their new Joan of Arc Pledge Manager which is being hosted on Game On Tabletop and they have a few painted models to throw in.

With no time after us getting the Mythic Battles through our doors, the Mythic Games guys are announcing that their next game, Joan of Arc is now live with their Pledge Manager.
Not only are late pledges accepted into the manager, it's open for two months so you have time to get your bills out of the way and into those juicy add-ons that the guys are providing.
What's your favourite model in the Joan of Arc range?
A Mythic day in the UK you say, name the day, I’m there.
Pledge manager not quite open yet, 8pm according to banner graphic!
Counting down now, we’re all too eager!
Post pledge manager will the expansions be available at retail (from Monolith or elsewhere) or are we stuck with what we can afford in one hit? I am slightly confused as I thought Monolith were heading toward a kickstarter only model
I think Monolith have said they’re going KS only with their games. We (Mythic Games) teamed with them for Mythic Battles: Pantheon, but otherwise we’re separate companies with our own projects. In terms of retail availability of Time of Legends: Joan of Arc, we don’t know at this point whether expansions will be available at retail. It depends on there being demand for them from distributors and retailers. The pledge manager is going to be open for two months, and you can pay as you go, so if there’s an expansion you really want then it’d be safest to get… Read more »
thanks for the clarification
Is it still the plan to be open until the week before Easter?
Their first game didn’t interest me at all but this game I’m going absolutely mad for! I’m glad I backed it, and I know I’ll be pledging for everything so looks like my credit card is going to take a big hit tonight!
The good news, between this and Reaper’s backer kits being open for months, I’m able to continually go back and add a little bit more.
The bad news, between this and Reaper’s backer kits being open for months, I’m able to continually go back and add a little bit more.
Those Ottomans look very good and nice to see them themed to special troops of the Ottoman empire.
Peeing myself with anticipation….
GRRR! got the timings wrong… just ducked out of a meeting an hour early!
Timer showing 30 minutes, Already had a link as a backer via email and been through it – check your inbox!!
It is live now 🙂

For all of us going “all in” :
Package weight: 37 481.00 grams
yep. That’s 38 Kilograms according to the pledge manager at this time.
I think I need to build a bit of muscle before the end of the year.
oh … and check out the new items that are in this pledge manager :
– ottoman army box :
– extra siege equipment
– card sleeves
– neoprene mat
(with these added I’m up to 40,5 Kg total … )
I probably will hate myself … but you only live once, right ?
I like Jean Luxembourg and and Henry: epic knights!!
..other than those I was gob-smacked by the Apocalypse expansion. What a finale for a great game! The aesthetic is mature and similar to Kingdom Death Monster.
I’ll be honest I am rather annoyed I didn’t give this more of a look at the time since I absolutely adore that Inn. I had, much to my shame simply thought this was a more historical game with a little angelic theme later on. It wasn’t until recently that I saw the more mystical units across the board.
I may have to mull this over but the lack of that inn is really annoying since that almost swung pledging for me.
If you can find someone local who has already backed then you can piggy back on their pledge and still receive the super exclusives.
My wallet both loves and hates that the pledge manager is open for two months. There will definitely be some add ons to my original pledge.
Just to point out, if you’re running more videos like this, if Leo had held up the dragon when the camera went to his one shot you’d have had a great view of it.It’s tantalisingly just out of frame at the bottom of his shot crying to be lifted into view 🙂
actually it’s the two shot with Leo and Benoit I’m referring to.
Would love to see the miniature size comparison to other 15-18mm miniatures.
I made a serious mistake. I missed out on this. Shame. Restart. Go! The miniature I like best is the giant devil with his huge three-forked prong and the leathery wings. What a nice idea to use the bible as a source for a game. There are so many stories in it. With a bit of imagination there is even a friendly zombie: Lazarus! If there is in the furture dire need for a new faction in the game I suggest the “Nibelungs” with their bases in Xanten and Worms and heros like Siegfried, Hagen von Tronje and more knights… Read more »
All my good intentions have completely gone out the window. My carefully planned purchases have not survived contact with the Pledge Manager.
That’s what worries my wallet……I have my plan in place ( core box plus bundle choice ), but i don’t expect it to survive contact with the PM 🙁 .This could get messy.
I tried to be strong but those extras were too tantalising. At least I’ve got the best part of a year to make some space.
Great job guys and thank you for including the sleeves so when everything arrives we can all quickly play!
