Great idea, too bad I will be at work and in a meeting at that time …
Yeah, are these replacing Hobby night lives? Have had one of those in a while. Unfortunately 8am on a Wednesday isn’t a good time for me to join in in the USA.
Nope HNL Will still happen (sporadically as usual) these are more of an exploration of what the community is doing. 🙂
Maybe a little later folks – just give us a few minutes to tinker
I’m at work so can’t watch this. Will the stream be saved and watchable retrospectively?
@rekky the Stream is now available to watch in archive.
I liked it. I had it playing in the background at work, so I missed a lot of the painting, but it was fun to have BoW talking in the background while I’m chugging away.
@beetle and me, but had to stop it when the boss came in,
Woah! That’s my Chaplin! Pleasant suprise! Thank you.
Beautiful work with that one.
Currently working on Shadespire minis
Too bad I missed the stream.
I’m just going to be cheeky and put a link to my Vorkz Waggon in here for you to look at next time: https://www.beastsofwar.com/groups/painting/forum/topic/wacky-races-painting-challenge/?topic_page=2&num=15#post-228257
Can’t watch during work but caught up now, thanks for the comments – I shall have to give that needle/toothpick tattoo painting idea a try.
After a long day at work this is such a pleasant surprise 😎 I’m so in awe of all the quality work the community churns out regularly! I always have enjoyed seeing folks developing their skills, be it beginners or professional painters and it’s great to seeing the WAYPN tradition being continued this way. Excellent idea and brilliant format, two thumbs up! I now go and buy merch.. Also thank you so much for your kind comments on my pictures gents, I really do appreciate it! The Gaul shield designs are from my top chum Steve (LBMS) who makes the… Read more »
That was great new segment video Guy’s its great seeing peoples figure’s but also a bit intimidating having not really painted much in years and the the quality of the painting improved tremendously over time I would struggle to get close to the finished models I have done.
Awesome idea for a new weekly feature. 😀 Thanks very much for the kind words on my panzers, and the advice on the photo lighting. I’ve tried that what @johnlyons is saying and I always seem to overlight from beneath, but I’ll try again with some new adjustable LED lights I have. 😀

I have got my best photos when involving proper daylight, getting 2 or 3 light source and preferably from various angles. The video gave me some pointers, but it may be too basic for you. The best pics online seem to be almost shadowless and I think you need something like a light box or some really good fortune and trial and error to achieve.
Nice new feature. Sadly at work at the time I think. What time was it on at?
1pm GMT – trying to run it around lunchtime-ish I think @torros
If any one is interested . The little Goblins are 10mm Pendraken. Just some base colours and a very thin black future washed, varnished and on the skin a very light drybrushing of the original skin colour . For the bases I used the wrong sand. I was doing it late at night and when I got up the next day realised my mistake
Great format, I was at work when the live stream started and couldn’t watch it. But watching it now makes me want to continue painting the GT Golem, I know what I’m doing on my day off tomorrow. 😀 I barley post pictures of my paint jobs, but seeing these amazing efforts motivates me to post my recent work. We will see I first have to take some decent pictures. Also its great to see again how divers the BoW community is and how many different miniatures been painted and all the different paint styles. I’m amazed! need to go… Read more »
A very entertaining video, glad I could catch the rest of it at the end of the day here. Watched as much as I could over my lunch! So much cool stuff on display as ever. So sorry I had to leave before the Deneb stuff was up! I only missed it by about 5 minutes as well, such are the rigours of the office. Thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement @lancorz and everyone for the feedback on the sculpts. Not my intention at all to do anything that looked excessive bust wise on the female sculpts,… Read more »

Thank you fellas! @johnlyons StuG recognition fail mate! It’s a Trumpeter model!
The rest of the infantry are from Elhiem, Battlefield/Blitz Miniatures, Kellys Heroes, Britannia, and Zvezda, and there’s probably more too. Vehicles are from Trumpeter, First to Fight, Hasegawa, Zvezda, PSC and the now sadly defunct MMS. I have more PSC, Revell and Zvezda stuff to add for these though before I’m ready to expand them to 1942…
