I don’t know if my blood pressure allows to watch this episode… HeroQuest *grunt*
feel free to record an epic rant to release that blood pressure 😉
It might not have been updated etc…and expensive, but it certainly hits the nostalgia notes for some folks. I shall never deny folks the chance to enjoy their hobby with something old-made new heh. Even if I’m happy with my original copy I got for £2.50 haha
I’m not saying people shouldn’t get a game they love… I’m just still mad as flock about how Hasbro has gone over with this… first it’s pre-order only and only US… then suddenly the UK and some territories get stuff… and all the sudden it’s a world wide retail release… had the dorkheads at Hasbro made it “for retail” in the first place I just would have been happy… but they have shown their greed for more money with every flocking step of the way… PS: I did a testpost on IG with the hashtags for WWX… I hope it… Read more »
Ah yeah, I understand heh. As big as Hasbro are, I think they probably still thought it a massive gamble, especially some of the higher-ups. It’s a big name is HeroQuest but I imagine a lot of people – like many here – just knew it would be a re-do of the original and therefore not worth it. Clearly, however, nostalgia wins through heh. Plus, I think a lot of the back and forth came from the issues with the licensing in the beginning. Should Hasbro have waited and got everything lined up from the start? Yes. Haha, I don’t… Read more »
Re: The Last Starfighter – don’t bother, it was shocking 30 years ago! I doubt it has aged well.
Although there was talk of doing a sequel…..jeez could Hollywood be more bereft of ideas!?!
want to buy a: Brass knuckle Jesus Dual Taco holder butt-plug, if you guys have an idea where i can find one shot me a DM at THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE. Thanks Happy weekend
The blood and plunder expansion looks great. I’ve only recently delved into King Philips war but early colonial history has always appealed to me. Count me in on this one ?
It is fascinating learning about a brand new portion of history that I didn’t know much about.
I would recommend Nathaniel’s Nutmeg and Big Chief Elizabeth by Giles Milton for some more interesting ideas for Blood and Plunder in that period
That’s grand will go look them up ?
Tangent’s Rogue range is certainly ecletic – I never thought I’d see miniatures of Mysta Mystralis and Axel Pressbutton or Abslom Daak Dalek Killer, let alone Grimjack. D.R and Quinch might just make it on to a tabletop near here as well.
Oh and Gerry – Marvin from H2G2 is the Paranoid Android. Marvin the Martian is the little guy in a Roman helmet from Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a Half Century and some Bugs Bunny cartoons.
Yeah it was good to see Axel Pressbutton. Warrior was a great if short lived comic
Hurtgen Forest, John? That would be the Siegfried Line.
Yay its the weekenders nutters nutty nut show
Boom, named checked again.
Ooh love the film’et figures great/darling looking models yes it was cunt Ducos Gerry

Event Horizon.

Oh lordy I need those HHGG minis.
i think they should have called it the ‘if they get this far we’re stuffed’ line
It’s the weekend! Great episode this week. That indie of the week looks very tempting.
Some fun stuff in there for sure 🙂
Glad to see hq on retail. It’s been a long time coming.
OMG! The Last Starfighter, that takes me back!
