VLOG: Pumpkin Carving Time!
October 28, 2016 by warzan
We promised we'd do it and so here we have our attempts at carving some pumpkins for Halloween and of course HobbyWeen!
Warren has picked out a traditional pumpkin, Lance is attempting a turnip and Justin went for a butternut squash. We'll leave you to tell us which one turned out the best.
Drop your thoughts below and don't forget to show off your own work too!
Get carving...
Sophia (the girl in the barn) isn’t dead in the comics. I hope you’re not going to get Mantic in trouble by using the wrong IP at the bootcamp :p
Did I hear Mythic Battles content this weekend? w00p w00p! 😀
my cousins that live a few hours north or Atlanta on the boarder with South Carolina call that stuff Spanish Moss and they hate it. they really hate it. it kills forests
Spanish Moss is a green gray lichen that grows in trees. Warren is correct the large green vine plant is called Kudzu and will literally grow over everything. Every summer when I was a kid we helped my grandfather cut it back behind his house in Tennessee.
Innuendoween.
Like no other.
Excited to hear the weathering of toy cars will be on a vlog. I’ve been bugging John and I can’t wait to see it. Also I’m super stoked for this bootcamp, and I’m not even going!
The wee battery powered tea-lights are good for putting in the pumpkin. No ventilation worries and afterwards you can turn them into blast markers 😉
lance is winner.
best execution and skills.
@radegast6 Thanks 😀
As an American who has been carving pumpkins annually for 35 years….this was hysterical to watch! (I cant decide if it is erotic or disturbing with how @warzan “handles” squishy).
Is the Mythic Battles demo game the Pantheon one? the one that is kickstarting in Nov?
Yes. It starts on Tuesday 🙂
I think disturbing, but in that way that you find you are unable to look away.
We used to start carving our turnip lanterns about mid June so we had a chance to let all the hand fractures heal inbetween attempts trying to scoop the insides out
happy Halloween every one.
love the veg guys you should have had the smashing pumpkins playing in the background?
As an person with many years of experience in carving must say this. Mmmuuuuhahahahahahah! You guys made me laugh so hard. If you don’t like the smell of burning plants you can use battery powered led lights.
Can we get a close up of the turnip?
I’ll never look at a butternut squash in the same way again.
@lancorz is the winner. Not only because of the best carving but also for putting up with endless innuendo…
Lance, was that a Gravity Falls reference I heard there mate?
Trying to post a picture of my pumpkin but can’t seem to paste a picture here. Any idea how I go about that?
Some forums allow you to post pictures. On this one you’ll have to use a photo bucket link
Thanks. Thats a shame, don’t use photo bucket.
Here’s a Google doc link.
