The Great Wargaming Survey 2015 Begins!
July 14, 2015 by brennon
The Great Wargaming Survey for 2015 is now live from Wargames: Soldiers & Strategy and you have the chance to not only say your piece on the world of wargaming but also be in with the chance of winning a bunch of goodies too.
Some more on the survey...
"At the end of this survey, you'll have the chance to enter your email address into a raffle for some very nice prizes. The full list is quite long and includes a Gates of Antares Starter set, the Great War game by the Plastic Soldier company, various boxed sets, books and three two-year subscriptions to either Ancient Warfare, Medieval Warfare or Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy!
Moreover, as a thank-you for taking part in this survey, everyone will get a discount coupon for use on the Karwansaray Publishers website, which can be used to purchase any of our books and magazines."
...so not too bad for ten or fifteen minutes work right?
We did this last year and it was great so we look forward to hearing about what kind of answers you give too.

That was fun…
looking fwd the results. last year was very interesting.
I think GW should do the same 🙂
Done! 🙂
Shows that there is a lot of room for everyone in wargaming.
I wouldn’t mind winning a Gates of Anaters starter set.
Done – interesting but I did not like to think about the annual budget. ..
…a good idea not too!
I accomplished it. The questions seemed rather diffused toward actual gaming systems especially when concerning Sci-Fi or Fantasy settings to the point any game company that produce them probably won’t gleam any useful data.
If a player really likes only one fantasy setting based on a decades old game which is putting out a new miniatures game this year such as Magic the Gathering: Arena of the Planeswalkers, to the exclusion of all others they might give the whole category high marks even if they only like that one game. They may actually not like fantasy in general.
Done, budget was scary
done.
done… when I answered the budget question I gave my self a heart attack never mind the wife
Done
Done!
Done. There seemed to be less questions than last year
Done.
Wont do. Waste of time.
Done, felt some options a bit narrow but its hitting a wide scene
Okay, I also did survey.
Filled it in 🙂
Done
me too. I’m thinking of using the 10% voucher to treat myself to The henchmen of Ares as a reward for all the effort.
Survey complete. Interesting how there were no choices or options in the questions for non-miniature wargames.
I thought so too. I imagine you had maps and counters in mind, while for myself I do a lot of board gaming these days. Some with miniatures, and some without. I consider them to be part of my overall hobby.
That was fast and cool
Done, way shorter than what I expected!
Done, i agree about the budget part, luckily the missus was not about so i was honest 😉
Some of those questions made me think. Hard work for an early morning. 🙂
