Godslayer – Round Breakdown
May 7, 2018 by dignity
David from Megalith Games shows Justin how a couple of rounds of their tabletop skirmish game Godslayer will play out.
Godslayer is set in the fantasy world of Calydorn and is inhabited by six warring factions of humans and beasts. These are represented in highly detailed 32mm metal miniatures.

Saw all the left-handed Hoplites and thought, nope.
But they are right handed?
@hithero that was really bugging me too but for some reason the cover picture is a mirror the Spearmen are Right handed.
It really pees me off why somebody thinks they are being artistic and feel the need to reverse images, happens all the time, why not take a pic and leave it alone so we get a true representation of the models? I understand the concept of characters looking into the spine on a book looking better, but this is a web page with a single page, there is no need to do this at all!
The reason why some images are flipped is because we have limited artwork that we have to work with and we’re being artistic because it makes the post look better.
“there is no need to do this at all!”
Shown above is our safe zones, sometimes there is need if we are limited in our choices.
We know they’re not often realistic representations but that’s why we have links to the respected game companies for you to check out yourself in the articles and we don’t flip the images inside the videos… unless we have to be artistic.
The pic shows them left handed.
Why is their handedness even remotely relevant? Many people are left handed. I’m ambidextrous. What’s the problem?
As explained above: The pic is mirrored. Check the official picture for the actual poses:

Cheers!
The Mortans look very interesting. A necromancer / undead Roman Centurion legion faction. Ticks a lot of boxes off. Would love to see how those play out.
I’ve pledged for a Wyldfolk starter. I have a starter set from 2013 as well as the rules. I have to say the models are OK, but not exceptional. The gameplay looks interesting though. After 2 days though the KS is only 24% funded of a modest £40k goal … not looking too much like its got legs at this stage sadly, but perhaps its a bit too early to say.
