Good old X-27
After the best part of half a century this is something new.
Thanks Gerry, I will go now and buy a tube I of evo-stick.?
It seems that every time I visit the Pound Shop I seem to buy another tube of UHU… sometimes if it is the only glue I can find I use it to stick tufts on bases. Must buy a wee pot of X-27 and give this a try.
I want to see snail traces!
A giant with a “giant” bugger hanging from his nose!
Ink from a squid in water!
bugger ? oh … booger
Best. Opening. Line. Ever.
Why thank you ?
Genius. Pure and un-adulterated. Love it!
a great effect perhaps PVA will work with the acrylics Gerry?
It might I’ll give it a go and let you know. But pva is harder to string out for the same effect as it flows. But if it does work drips and pools will be doable
Depending on how thickly you apply it, pva might dry cloudy/whitish so might not work well for pools of water.
This is truly an artistic piece Gerry and Ryan combining powers to do something great
Just wait till you see what is coming…
*refreshes page until new video shows up*
Great stuff. I’ve never tried this (not much call for blood or saliva on 15mm tanks) but I do have a dragon that needs to be painted and I think it’s going to get some saliva now. I’ve seen PVA used before but getting the consistency right looked to be a challenge whereas this looks a lot easier.
And what’s next? Crusty eye gunk? Dandruff? Athlete’s foot?
saliva, cum, poison effect, Gerry really does like making all bodily fluid effects
Certainly seems Gerry has much much more patience than I have!
Looks great!
I was reminded of an old video done by Rafael Robledo, which he has since redone using your method, that he showed off 5 min epoxy. There have also been examples here and here of doing splatter effects using fishing line.
