In this video, Gerry showcases the tools, bitz and more that you can use to build a custom leader for The Doomed. Components used to make this miniature have come from the North Star Military Figures' range of 28mm plastic sets for Frostgrave and Stargrave. Gerry also makes use of the Green Stuff World Tentacle Roller to help make the bottom half of this twisted miniature for The Doomed.
There are plenty of interesting factions to choose from in Osprey Games' new skirmish wargame and they can all be built in different ways.

This reminds me I have one of those tubes and tentacles rollers from Green Stuff World. I should use it some time.
I’m really looking forward to more Doomed content, just to see how it plays.
I just bought one 🙂
big or small, I wish they made the big one when I picked mine up. But I use it so little I can’t justify buying another now
Doom? *commences with The Doom Song*

That energy bit on the backpack… I’m saying it looks like something from Bad Dragon but it looks like something from Bad Dragon
I don’t know what that is, there could be dragons in the doomed
Great video with some excellent inspiration for some kitbashing creations.
Great work Gerry an you can use him as a chaos priest in other game’s.

Lol.?
Cant seem to access any of the COG content when logged in on my PC. Still ablet o access when logged in on my ipad though – anyone else having this problem?
@irishsteve . This happened to me a couple of years ago. I had to send Tom a pm and they reset my account. I am presuming its the same problem I had
I had it for a time on firefox for iOS last year I think. Update browser? Or try another one? It works fine now.
Of Gerry can then perhaps I can. Let’s see more of this please
nice way to do tentecles
I have hudereds models already build 😀
Love the kitbashing you done here
Really nice kitbashing tutorial, and great looking model at the end.
Lovely kitbash @avernos, I have lots of sprues just need to get some greenstuff. Then it’s kitbashing time for me……
I love seeing other folks ‘kitbashing’, well done!
I am scratching my head though………………..
The top of the page says it was posted the 10th of August but some folks have posted comments from 7 days or so ago…..? ?
It’s not the first time I’ve ventured into a black hole…….as long as I stay calm……but if I don’t I might feel a sense of dread and then i really will be ‘Doomed’.
These sprues are awesome!
Good tutorial Gerry, looks like the editor left you are hanging a bit there though. 🙂
The tentacles are amazing. I have the kit from Green Stuff World although have not tried it yet.
only the time everyone can see it, last week when it was cultists only they were in there
If you angle the tentacle roller you can make your tentacles tapered.
That is some classy conversion work there. Very ambitious intent but that’s how you’ve ended up with something so unique. Bravo!
Really nice job with the scratch built saw. I’ve been starting to get into greenstuff and plasticard and you’re giving me all sorts of ideas.
The tentacles came out great. I like the idea of a melee heavy boss. He can be the leader and buff and lead his guys, but when you need someone to come to the rescue when a monster is trying to eat a team member, you don’t want his best attribute to be a pew pew pistol shot into the combat. Get your boots wet and kick that alien to death boss. Lol.
@avernos.What kits have you used for the beasties ( big and small ) ?
Favourite video so far.
Didn’t know I would want a tentacle roller but here we are…
I like the creative freedom that this gives from a miniatures perspective. I can feel the bits box calling me already! Love games like this as I can create my own narrative while I’m building and I get more invested in the warbands I make. Good job folks!
nice job
