Nice one Gerry I got all the GW paint set’s when I got into figure painting an all the metallic set dryed before using more than half the pots. so this is just the thing for that special colour for the figure to make them pop on the table.
? metallic brain matter beige?
Yeah, the Vallejo medium looks way better than the other one. Might have to pick up a bottle next time I but an order in for paint.
I couldn’t help but notice when you used the airbrush how much mica sprayed everywhere. I’d imagine you’ll be seeing it glinting for some time to come.
my desk gets a acetone rub down whenever it gets too dirty I imagine it will be magically sparkly when I do it again
Metallic mediums can also be mixed in with snow powders and glue to give it a little sparkle. Add in small quantities until you’re happy or risk silver snow.
oh that’s an interesting idea, my snow is already sparkly so I never even thought of it. Nice idea
Thats a great idea with the white and it looks good. I bet if a matt varnish goes over the top it dulls it down so put it on after.
Great Gerry might can mate, flipping useful as has the whole series on metallics
I have metallic medium on my shelf. I’ve never really figured out what it’s for. I think I’ll have a play with it.
let me know how it pans out
