How I would make them? I’d summon them of course… RISE MY MINIONS!
Nice tutorial Gerry.
As you mentioned, some Napoleonic plastic sprues like a lot of those by Victrix are a bit easier to use as they are more multipart with separate heads and arms.
I used a couple of zombie WW2 German sprues from Studio Miniatures mixed with Perry French Line Infantry for my revanents. I had wondered Mantic zombies as another option, but hadn’t really considered skeletal undead; those grinning skulls do add a lot of additional character though.
A nice quick solution to mass producing revenants there. Takes me back to my early days armed with a razor blade and Mums nail file following the conversion articles in the Airfix magazine.
brilliant video Gerry the necromancer fab looking skelebobs.
Great tutorial man, if I had infinite time and patience I’d love to make a undead kings of war army using victrix and some skely parts
Oooh, I have some GSW flaming skulls that haven’t found a project yet. Those would look pretty cool on top of some undead infantry! And maybe for something more understated I still have quite a few skulls left in my GW Skulls box….
Great can @avernos and you can never get too many Kitbashing tips. This is very useful for beginners and old timers too.
Happy New Year there to you
Nice video. Those revenants look great.
Sometimes it can get very fiddly and frustrating trying to get some of the smaller bits in the right place.
A bad thing with using superglue, as well as the ones you mentioned in the video is how easy it is gluing those small parts to yourself rather than the miniature.
Nice
very interesting option
