Solomon Kane – Mythic Games Exclusive Trailer Reveal!
June 4, 2018 by crew
The team at Mythic Games have released the trailer for their upcoming Kickstarter, Solomon Kane.
Darkness roams the world during the 16th and 17th centuries, and one man, Solomon Kane, stands alone against evil in all its forms. Alone, however, he cannot succeed, he relies on his faith, and the courage it grants him, to overcome his foes and stay on the path of light.
No man, beast or demon is outside the reach of Justice, and guided by his beliefs and sheer force of will, Solomon Kane will traverse the globe to seek out adventure and deliver his righteous judgement.
Based upon the stories by Robert E. Howard (creator of Conan), Solomon Kane is a narrative adventure board game featuring exceptional 35mm miniatures. It is a highly innovative co-operative game of storytelling, resource management, and tactical miniatures play.
Players take the part of the invisible powers of good and light who aid Solomon Kane in his quest to overcome the forces of Darkness. Each player is one of the four Cardinal Virtues: Courage, Prudence, Temperance, and Justice, each with special powers that reflect their unique role.

a fan of the Solomon Kane franchise, so this looks promising so far 🙂
Not gonna lie, I was sold at UKGE. Still love the trailer though, it definitely screams Mythic Games.
The game plays so well, I am very much looking forward to this.
Monolith and Mythic going up with KS at the same time is… unfortunate? Certainly for potential customers of both with limited funds.
I was thinking the same thing
almost forgot to say i’m a huge fan of the extra touches, especially the atmosphere inducing Tome.
I do really like the look of this one, plus its mythic games so it must be a good one!
I’ve had chance to watch the Az interview now ,hi Az, and you’ve got to had it to mythic, genuinely innovative yet again. multilayered narrative game play with the luck mitigation that is now characteristic of their games. the miniatures are certainly the best single piece board gaming miniatures out there and they put more than a few miniature wargames to shame. JoA had a grittier more realistic look than MB:P and SK continues in that same vein. the 35mm and 75mm scale really lets them show what they can do. i will say more about the gameplay and the… Read more »
Hehe hey 😀
Trailer looks awesome. The gameplay is intriguing also, not controlling Kane but instead his virtues is really different.
I really enjoyed the movie they did over this and cannot wait to start reading some of these stories. This game looks awesome as well.
WOW
I have to agree, the trait control mechanic is interesting, but as I’ve alluded to in previous posts, I’ve got enough minis in my painting queue to last me to 2021 [including the 2 waves of KDM to come]. In short, I don’t need another new IP to expand upon. Ergo, this is an easy pass. Roll on the MB:P second KS campaign.
This is looking great!
I’m loving the fact that they have all these npc type characters in the set as well.
I am completely new to the world of Solomon Kane, so I’m not sure what to expect as far as expansions/stretchgoals, so I’m rather excited to see what is in store for us!
Ok was going to avoid this but Az showed me the mini’s at UKGE and well damn I am so close…to going in on it.
Why even try to fight it, Rob 😉
Excuse some the audio issues, but Az sounds fine in this interview I recorded. http://podcast.darker-days.org/e/darkling-49-mythic-games-at-ukge-2018/
I grew up reading Conan and Solomon Kane. I am SO stoked about this game!!!!!
Blimey. Other than a mate of mine used the name Solomon Kane for his electronic music, I know little about this. That video is flippin gorgeous though.
