Titan-Forge have sat down with us this week for a Q&A Session about their current Kickstarter, X-Terra Space Force Vs Daemon Kingdoms and some of the past work. Well, since then we also got an awesome look at some of the models coming your way!

Fury

Decay

Lust

First up we're looking at the amazing Daemons that will be leading your hellish hordes into battle on some wartorn planet. The first of these is Fury who has a great look to him and I love the style of the horns and the work on the over the top musculature. He's certainly a warrior worth his salt.

Decay and Lust are slightly less focused on the war front but probably have powers of their own to put into play on the battlefield. I like the mix of the mechanical/cybernetic with the organic on all three of these pieces but Lust does it the best I think. I like that it's seemingly a female but you couldn't really tell either way. I like to think of it as an androgynous creature that skirts the boundary between the two sexes.

Daemon Lords

All of these sculpts are based on the first casts based on the 3D renders from the Kickstarter that you will have already seen. There are still a few problems to work out with the sculpts and how they go together but I think that Titan-Forge are on the right path with these.

Marines

Armoured Guardians

As well as the deadly Daemons there are those plucky humans who have to stand against them. Above you can see some of the Marines and Armoured Guardians that you'll be bringing into combat against these deadly enemies. This lot seem to have embraced the feel of the DOOM troopers AND the Spartan in their design as well as borrowing a few Exo-Suits from the likes of Call of Duty.

I like the Marines a lot and the sculpts as a whole have a neat level of detail that would lend itself well to washes and a bit of drybrushing. I like drybrushing. The armour is also clearly segmented which means painting the different plates in different colours would be easier. I hate it when the armour plates blend into one another.

The only thing I'd have to say against these humans would be that the poses seem a bit bunched up at the moment and the posing could do with a bit of work. It will be interesting to see if the kit can be tweaked and fine tuned but overall you've got some pretty good looking human soldiers for your Sci-Fi games.

What do you think of these Marines and Daemon Lords?
