Important note – with the recent changes to the Sacred Warriors (made well after this video was recorded), they are not quite as tough as they used to be although having tried to deal with their previous incarnation a few times, I’m happy to say the new version feels more balanced. Most significantly, they now have 1 wound each and their constitution score is now in line with most other basic troops (in the region of 10), although with the addition of gas masks I would say they are no more vulnerable to gas weapons than they were previously.. there… Read more »
I don’t get the point in those videos. They were made years ago, based on rules that have changed several times since. Even if the basics are the same, it is exactly the same thing as publishin today some tactical presentation of a 5th edition codex for 40k. Don’t know what was the deal between Prodos and BoW, but seems quite wrong.
I was just about to comment that the amount of warzone coverage seems disproportionate. But no coverage of other games like Battlegroup, Frostgrave etc 🙁
Mostly it’s about opportunity and scheduling. I’m sure if Osprey went to BoW they could play a game of Frostgrave and it would get released in parts over several weeks / months, giving the impression of extended coverage of a particular game.
Of course, then you have the problem nouille pointed out! Draw it out too long and somebody will have moved the goalposts 🙂
Unless a content producer is willing and able to create content very quickly and then dump it out all at once while it is at it’s most relevant, situations like this are inevitable. Fortunately the game rules haven’t changed; We are just talking about some alterations to the unit profile 🙂
So freaky how quick Justin grew the beard.. & then saw that this is an older video. Sneaky guys, sneaky! lol
I don’t play the game but the is a brilliant table guys.
