The Legends Of Fabled Realms: Fighting With The Eightfold Path Faction
July 7, 2017 by dignity
Now that we have seen the Druggoi Covens from The Legend of Fabled Realms in action and found out more about them it's time to take a look at the Holy Militant Order ready to cut them down, the Eightfold Path.
With Justin playing the Druggoi, John has answered the call of the Eightfold and he is joined by Adam from 4Ground to guide him on how to get the best out of his warband.
Kickstarter Now Live!
As with Justin's battle, we'll be playing a Legacy game. This means that if the hero dies in the game, they only become wounded.f on a white dice roll it appears skull's up, the hero is removed from the
If on a white dice roll it turns out to be skulls, the hero is removed from the warband. If not, the hero takes a damage roll from a chart of injuries. The same rules apply for Henchmen characters, however, it's if the die lands on a blank that the result applies.
How would you tackle the Eightfold Path?

I do like the mechanics of this game, while theres a bit to learn it all seams quite simple. Im all in with this game, hopefully ill manage to get some of my club into it too!!
well done John.
Another great demo game, thanks guys. It’ll be interesting to see how the legacy system influences the next game.
Did John have a ‘how to make your buildings look frosty’ vlog anywhere? I can’t seem to find it if he did (but will need to once all that lovely terrain arrives from 4Ground :D).
I also admire those winter buildings. They look fabulous.
Nice game, put it on th list, It seem that list never end.
Thanks for the battle report. I believe LoFR will be the “new Mordheim” of our time. Fully developed setting, interesting mechanics, huge number of scenarios, proper campaign rules …
The more I see about the game and the mechanics the more I like it.
I would like to learn more about the legacy system.
Great game. Well done John 🙂 I’m really diggin this game more and more
Looking really good. I liked the “Bulky” rule (as this stops it going all Herohammer). Just watch the KS livestream from 4Ground, there’s a lot more to come (including a 5th and 6th faction at retail). Plus they plan a “living” background, so things will change and alliances will be made and broken.
Its one KS where I’m amazed at the attention to detail 4Ground seem to be putting into this
Sounds like the Grey Wardens tbh
