Freeriders are an other fun one to get out of the drill
Also you can use it to content a focal point late game. Where it can plug one a VP or two if you are lucky
never gone with the drill myself, i have three of them though….lol
nothing quite like drilling the enemy from behind.
death from below.
The only issue I have with using the drill is the fact that as it is a table edge deployment whatever comes out of it can only move half speed and can’t shoot the turn it comes out. Maybe I am just unlucky with my Drill scatter, but they always seem to be leaving stuff out in the open. Two drills in a game though can really make your opponent think though, especially if the breach on the same turn.
I have run two drills and had 12 rocket technicals come out of one and 12 gun technicals come out the other. My opponents face….classic with 24 cars running riot around his back lines and two squads of free riders cruising up the flanks.
@bradleigh that sounds pretty awesome. May have to get me some drills for my fledgling Resistance force.
