Designing Blood & Plunder Campaigns

Firelock Games campaign designer Nate talks us through his process for creating the Blood & Plunder campaign system.
Nate focused on creating a system that gave players as much freedom as possible and rewarded players for developing the reputation of their commanders.
Have you played any campaign games?
We have started using these new rules. We took our time rolling them in as we had started our own rules when we first started playing Blood & Plunder’. We tend to like a running story when playing table top games so a sysytem was needed.
I look forward to getting deeper into this new campaign system.
Like the way he organized it for inclusion. As long as myou have fun in the end and it’s semi realistic….my biggest problem is which faction to get initially. Pirates look fun but the smaller stuff and units. Jewish brigade. Really show the care and attention the designers put into this game (no peace I’m talking about) and the carry are devastating but I would keep those out ….something about cavalry and pirates just wrong.
cant beat a bit of pirating now an again.
