Dark Age Week: Faction Spotlight – The Outcast
May 3, 2016 by dignity
We've had a look at the Forsaken and now we're turning our attention towards The Outcast for Dark Age.
These warriors live a hard life out there in the middle of the wasteland and are formed into a range of smaller clans lead by Warlords and Cult Leaders.
Follow Dark Age Week
You might even find a few of them working as slave traders and worse!
Would you side with the Outcasts?

I love that Cool mini is continueint to support and expand Darkage!
Now this factions very tempting, problem is I like the look of both subfactions, which to choose. Need to investigate more.
Salt Flat Nomads over Slavers any day of the week. Come on the Blade Master.
I like the dune looking sub faction 😀
I’m liking the mish mash of models in this faction.
I prefer the Salt Flat Nomas as well, although the Dead-Eye sniper and the slave master with the pistol was really cool models!
I like the outcasts. I’m not sure about the slavers. The nomads are very interesting.
Whoo! My faction of choice for sure. Mongo was the model that really got me interested in the game, and the mad max vibe just instantly sold me on the Outcasts.
I just hope they add some more to the base faction along with the two sub factions as I prefer the look of the basic Outcast guys to either the Nomads or Slavers. Just a bit of a shame that it’s damn near impossible to find an online stockist for Dark Age in the UK.
Element Games and Wayland Games are 2 online stockists I’ve found selling Dark Age, but I do agree that I’m not seeing it in a lot of places.
Hi. A number of UK shops have Dark Age stock, Element Games Stockport, Empire Game Store, GAMES of WAR – Seaham, Travelling Man, Twisted Pinnacle, Wayland Games.
Dark Sphere should have stock by the weekend.
Stock may be a little limited but will change over the coming weeks.
the Outcast faction
Nomads, scavengers, slavers
Do they overlap?
The basic faction overlaps with the other two at least a little from what I can see from the free faction PDF. You can align the base faction with either of the sub factions, gaining access to that sub factions models along with the basic Outcasts, though the slavers lose access to Brutes, Hoj, and Mongo. The two sub factions however cannot align in one force.
Again, this is just a couple minutes look at the faction PDF and I may be wrong.
Hmm, no edit button. Dang. Forgot to mention in the previous post, the Outcasts (or scavengers as you call them) are the basic faction. The nomads and slavers are the sub factions.
These look like the best faction against the forsaken!
Love the look of the Outcasts, more specifically I love the Salt Flat Nomads. Really tempted to start collecting asap after I have had my next pay packet. Will keep watching the other videos though to see what the other faction are like 🙂
MONGÖOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of the these two faction I like the salt lake nomads
really nice models
Finn Deadeye is an amazing sculpt and The Warden looks fab too!
Keep these faction videos coming!
Cool mini definitely did quite well with the sculpts for the Outcasts
Man, I wouldn’t want to meet Mongo face to face.
Looking forward to seeing more of the factions.
” Candygram for Mongo, candygram for Mongo “.
I do like the Salt Flat Nomads more, though, must be that Fremen vibe.
I think I’d lean toward the Nomads myself, though I do like the look of Mongo
Some cool models in the outcasts, I like the Salt guys.
