Happy Sunday! Years ago when I was a FLGS owner, we had a 28mm Stalingrad table that was universally loved by WWII, modern warfare and 40K players alike. It was hard to move, hard to store and needed constant repairs.
Its the XLBS Show………………..Happy Sunday Fellow CoGs!
Happy Sunday!
A great day was had by all playing the Stalingrad Mega battle.
There Will be more carnage coming soon. We all promised on the day to do more.
Yikes! That was a huge setup to look at. Do there really need to be Katyushas on the table without a length back to fire? Wouldn’t there need to be a balance of fielded German arty as well? Good show on the massive amount of work.
Another great round robin of painting in Golden Butt-ons for Ben’s Sexual BS presented with the dulcet tones of Barry White… er… Gerry Bacca. I might have an idea brewing from these. I’ll get back to that.
I used Vallejo Model Color Textures Dark Earth, with a
Agrax Earthshade wash. On the bases
Have you finished the tyres, as sat in the mud, they looked a bit mud free, or did I miss a detail, fantastic work on the basing otherwise.
om going project , I’m hoping to finish them off over xmas
Currently no new project planned, at least till the new
2023! but that’s weeks away…
The hobby budget went on Christmas, this year. Due to my sister, who live with being unemployed. There was a risk, that if I didn’t stump up the money she wouldn’t clear off over Christmas to family and leave me to my hobby.a maybe some battle reports
Hi OTTers.
Happy Sunday.
Nice to see a new face.
Congratulations to the golden button winners, three very nice projects.
Fabulous work on your Stalingrad table Michael.
Cheers @Zorg. It has been a LOT of work, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. Great to be able to host the game, and play with a great fun group!
Time well spent the table looks fantastic.

HAPPY SUNDAY…
Happy Sunday…
…good night.
@Avernos You might be in luck – Army Painter have said they’re planning to expand the current range of speedpaints to 90 colours (you probably already know) – if that doesn’t have some military shades then they will have massively dropped the ball.
Interesting Vietnam spotlight, I think Gerry reeled off the must see historic celluloid.
If Piers did that Vietnam Campaign system would be a perfect match up with the Chain of Command DMZ fan supplement, and ubicon being an almost one stop shop for vietnam in plastic (they have I think being doing the Plastic Ground forces recently). Warlord had there chance there, but they let that one get away.
