I really like the model for the necromancer in Mantic Dungeon saga. He’s raising an undead skeleton through the floor, awesome.
And the opposite side is the metal Sauron miniature from GW.

The Spirit Hosts break so easily…it really isn’t a good model for wargaming.

Reaper Miniatures released some really cool kid adventurer models, each of which comes with a themed pet. They’re Reaper Bones and from the Bones V KS. I think they’d be great for the Hero Kids game.
If you didnt want to get a S ville stl or one for the other bad chap, you could look at the latest North Star apprentice necromancer. She appears teen aged and might be quite cool as the villain for this kind of game.

Remember to start small and slow, use protection and plenty of lubricant, preferable water based when using Lloyd’s ASS… ?

@brennon I’ve seen Sigmarines used as Ogres in Kings of War tournament videos. I got some from the 1st issue of Mortal Realms to convert to Ogre Palace Guard and combine with some of my old Warhammer Fantasy Empire stuff for Order of the Brotherhood (Spring clean challenge 2027?).

@lloyd ask Gerry about the Varangur for Kings of War. Your Draugr would fit into that army along side other Saga style miniatures. I’m a fan of using the same miniatures across multiple systems because I paint so slowly. Maybe I need to get on the ASS train.

@johnlyons recall that Oddball said his Sherman had been specially modified to be faster in reverse so that model is historically accurate. The movie Sherman is not.

@warzan There are a few Jason and the Argonauts inspired bad guys around. Also if you did go with a Greek theme if your world isn’t to bedded in with Hero Kids, Greek backdrop if you lead it that way gives you a lot of RPG scope with all the myths and legends, and years later, everytime one of your little ones saw Jason and the Argonauts, they’d think of those Friday and Saturday nights. I am currently living in China and have been here for the past 6 years. The covid anal test is not a lie. Foreigners (like me) and Chinese were not getting them. That anal test was only reserved for the Japanese. The only reason why it stopped,was because the Japanese government got involved and requested the Chinese government to stop targeting Japanese citizens. I feel @johnlyons pain about Kasrkin – I only have a second squad because my FLGS had a load of them on the shelf when I went in over my birthday. Not surprised they are popular though, people have been requesting the return of Kasrkin ever since the Tempestus Scions launched. Crazy how many spare bits you have left over though. They give you enough kit for double the number of Kasrkin as you get bodies. Happy Sunday, Warren you have do a play through of “HERO KIDS”. The ASS system, the ideas that just keep running out of this are Just amazing!

Been absent for some time but watching this again felt like seeing old friends, spring clean challenge feels like a good thing to return with so I just need to have a look at what I do.
