Happy Sunday Cogs, OTTers and Backstagers!
Sweet Merciful Fist-pumping Buddha! Ben over for the dinner thing!?! I see its all coming together for the great Giftmas plan. *in the voice of the greatest mouse mind of all time* Yes! Pundancer, are you pondering what I’m pondering? Ok, in all seriousness I think I’ll give @brennon , @lloyd and @johnlyons all one collective Spartan nudge (the kind Ben gives in Necromunda that Gerry perfected for suggesting people work on their private projects) in putting out some links to video of the All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2024 With BGM (not the best after the halfway mark)… Read more »
Great show, congrats to the button winners.
The Indian Mutiny would be my passion project, it is something I have always wanted to do but have never found the time or rules to start it.
pm me your email and I’ll send you a copy of a book about a great man in the Indian Mutiny called mcCabe that will probably give you in the incentive
Line of the video so far “its how he feeds the baby gundams”
which reminds me that I need to finish my room too as well as I still got stuff to do :

(and yes … also Ikea, but a bit of DIY for fun)
Am so going to copy that paint storage idea once I get a better idea of where all things fit.
I just wish I could limit myself to one project without getting distracted by new things like the multi award winning Moonstone.
Best stuff for basing Western desert is a bag of bird grit, its fairly cheap to buy.In fact I think you can buy a bag in the Poundshop in the UK.

Happy Sunday.
Some really nice looking Gunpla there.
The Silmarillion would be a great setting to build an army upon, there are so many epic battles in that history.
Best opening yet!
@johnlyons and @avernos mock all you like but my current Chain of Command force I’m building consists of 70 figures 🤣🤣
Passion Project… Well that’s easy it’s my American Civil War stuff. I still have a shed load of figures to paint up 😬
Happy Sunday cogs and otters, great show once again the awesome threesome, in the words of that sport clothing outfit…”JUST DO IT BEN”. Passion project is my own large gaming room like a proper dedicated war-room with two tables one for Fantasy and another for WW2, OH YES!!! as the insurance dog says.
Sure live stream the Christmas Dinner – that can be the XLBS.
Great chat gents, especially the ribbing of @commodorerob😳😂😂😂 Passion project wise I have already started all three I have in mind. First is the 15mm FoW CoC British armoured unit. My aim Sword beach and the Staffordshire yeomanry of the 27th armoured brigade. I currently have 23 Sherman’s and associated support vehicles. Next up is to do 87 armoured assault squadron Royal Engineers, again for Sword beach, I built every variant of AVRE used on Dday a few years back and now I want to make them unit specific. It’s extra special for me as I served in 87 squadron… Read more »
don’t listen to the no Gunpla folk. They’re just jealous that their kits don’t come with that kind of detail at that kind of price.
😀
Great show lads.
Gunpla still holds no interest for me but I’m enjoying seeing the journey.
Hobby room project is great. I’ve built a hobby shed / office and it’s sitting furnished and unused since August because electrians are all too bloody busy to come wire it to the mains. Hopefully I’ll get in there before Christmas because I tore apart my current office expecting to already be in there.
I wish I’d thought of masking everything before I bought the furniture… optimistic measures resulted in some altered plans
@avernos You called it right then doubted your powers, I had the same tingling I know that feeling so had to look it up and I’d had the same thought and we were right
Gentle Ben. The adventures in the Florida Everglades of game warden Tom Wedloe, his wife Ellen, their son Mark, and Mark’s tame bear Ben.
