Happy Sunday Mate!

@lloyd Saliva-door Valley? I think @avernos shouldn’t have put you onto Flesh Gordon at the behest of Crispin.
I am going to be honest, I love putting together Legions Imperialis. Yes the tunderhawk has a load of parts.
I’m sure the majority do mate 🙂
But its a PITA when you are as ham fisted as I’ve become lol
BUT… the models are utterly fantastic, and I am loving the epic scale 🙂
I completely understand and I have seen a lot of people fretting about it and I also wonder why they made some parts separate and not combined with something else.
Good morning Cogs!
Great show. But I couldn’t help but be distracted by @warzan ‘s splatter screen for the whole show.
Did you sneeze while eating Doritos or something? Give it a wipe, man! 🙂
lol
I hadn’t noticed!
Happy Sunday XLBSers and OTTers.
OTT Warzan go’s all rentaghost.

You are saying that @warzan but will you still be when you have Wolf hanging off you ?!??
An HeroQuest turns into Balders Gate❓
Having Terminator vibes with the 40w laser being mentioned so much?
Thanks for the shout out I was sitting down at the painting tray about to start when I heard my handle ? it has given me a positive kick up the arse to get more done ?
Happy Sunday.
Loved the 90s Gladiators, watched the first episode of the new show and despite a few reservations I like it enough to carry on watching.
@warzan sorry to you have been ill over Xmas, seems you have had what I’ve been suffering with. Went for your chest badly, mine decided to in addition upset my heart.
A fab show guy’s.
I worked Games Day 1994 and backstage they had all the Gladiators gear. I was very excited that Jet had sweated on it all.
BRB watching New GLadiators.
Hmm Sabre yes. I like her tats.

Happy Sunday….
I love the custom dice idea for making D6 rolls a little more granular/character-tailored. I have a few game rules where I might want to have a base number, then modify it by just one or two – custom D6 would be perfect for this! e.g. minimum dice throw is 2, median is 3, if you get really lucky, maybe a 4 – that’s hard to explain using D6 rules; 1 + D3 might do it, but then there’s no “weighting” around the mid-point of three. Custom sets of D6 (for each character/character type) are brilliant. How much faith do… Read more »
Excellent show as always. Some amazing Button winners there, congratulations to you all. @Warzan, absolutely love what you are doing with Heroquest and the family. The cards you have made with AI are next level. Please do a separate ‘How to’ Video talking us through the steps from setting up an account for mid-journey through to adding images and creating prompts to get the final product. The whole layout of the cards is fantastic and your knowledge and experience on this needs to be shared and not just on the weekenders or XLBS shows. (Because we run out of time… Read more »
+1 for a how-to on creating AI art.
Yes, I know it has all kinds of implications – but this is for home hobby use, not to create a Kickstarter and make a gazillion quid and put artists out of work and isn’t it all theft anyway…? AI art is perfect for this kind of home-cottage make-it-yourself kind of thing.
Would love to know more – I’ve always been disappointed with the results so I haven’t played with AI art generation much; some hand-holding would be appreciated!
@warzan love the idea of turning models into card art using AI. Any chance you could show how you did it?
I’m a touch behind on my weekenders but great show guys.
@warzan – I got an Elegoo Mars 4 Ultra for Christmas from the wife and I too have refound my love for 40k through it. Like you I’ve decided that 8mm is the only way 40k makes sense these days and resin printing them in one piece is a godsend. Not that I mind building minis but some things just don’t need to be 20 parts
Currently printing out some 8mm Tyranids and loving the proper endless swarm look it’s giving but with some actual hope of painting them up!
