Happy Sunday CoGs, OTTers and Backstagers! It’s overcast and humid in a 27 degree (C) mid winters day in Sydney. Sounds like a great reason to be indoors watching Warren wax lyrical about the hobby.
Awesome show to end the weekend on. Now time to do the laundry and get more minis painted. I will casually ignore the insanity of Terrainfest as there is so much otherwise to do.
Good show guys and congratulations to the button winners, some very inspiring stuff.
@warzan. Dungeon layout looks absolutely amazing. That would be so much fun to play on.
Stiff Little Fingers, what a great band. Way back, possibly 30 years ish, I remember going to a few of their gigs in old parts of London, and missing the last train home more than once.
Definitely do the fantasy Dreadball. It’s unique where as industrial cities are pretty common builds.
Wallpaper companies tend to add ‘batch numbers’ to their rolls so you can be certain all of your rolls match.
I wonder if Archon do the same for their pre-painted dungeon sets.
I doubt they have the same colours for their entire stock, unless they can get that much out of a single batch (or their stock are that low)
Per from The Roll a one blog did a very nice 6mm SAGA game for the first or second Joy of 6 show

Happy Sunday hope this finds you all well! and if not working the bank holiday in the UK enjoying a great long weekend. I’m a little busy as about to start my training a counsellor which is a bit step I’m very excited about but I do have this plan to take the gallows dark set and create a generic for all sci-fi dungeon terrain set using some necromunda and kill team terrain. I also have a shed load of warlord epic battles to work through including the lovely terrain they are to the boxsets. A lot to keep me… Read more »
Happy Sunday COGz an OTTers ?
Does the cat’s rule over the house and pet’s Warren ??
An you got a slap when you got home I bet Warren??
That’s his inner builder coming out Justin used ??
The Realistic water effect looks great ?
Just a tip but i don’t think you mean callipers. What you described was more like what is called a divider which is used on nautical charts and such.
That’s why politicians are so thick an gormless now ? all the brain’s are in the paint bottles ??

the paint match shouldn’t be a problem it done just like the paint machines in the hardware/DIY stores ?
?An angry Mumbles???
That barrel monster could be hiding in the water in game Warren.
Happy Sunday.
A great looking dungeon there Warren. Adding those extra rock pieces really sells the idea that the dungeon is underground.
I once had some bamboo socks. They didn’t last very long a got holes in really quickly. They were rubbish.
Warren, my vote is for the fantasy Dreadball terrain.
Love the idea of going back to the Realm of Chaos books and doing a warband and see it develop. I should really do this, sometime.
I will be doing Arnham (Operation Market Garden) for the terrain challenge.
Fab inspirational show guy’s ?
Happy Sunday , once again Warren you show us what can be done if you put your mind to it, it must be great being a kid in your house.
Always glad to see and hear Warren ramble. It is comforting in a very cathartic way!
For nearly 20 years I’ve wanted to try building some hovels from an old copy of Battle Games in Middle Earth, this sounds like a good opportunity to finally get around to them.
Fun show as always guys.
@warzan for what it’s worth I think a South American themed fantasy Dreadball table would be awesome as a project but I’d personally prefer you did the Armoured Clash terrain simply because there are so few steampunk projects in that scale. YMMV.
I never saw Stiff Little Fingers. When I was little punk gigs were usually £6 in, SLF were £8. “Fscking cashin sellouts” I thought, never thinking it just cost more to tour England after getting over from NI.
tl;dr someteenager was a dick
