Happy Sunday fellow CoG’s… It’s the XLBS SHow! You just can’t beat a show opener with a Flame throwing set of Bagpipes.. hummm what are the defining characteristics for the OTT Team’s tabletop versions? @warzan needs a Tinfoil hat! @lloyd needs a ‘I heart Trains’ tshirt! @brennon needs to fit inside a TV box! @avernos should be 1.5 times bigger than than the other team members! What I’ve been working on this week is converting a box of WWII Germans from Warlord Games Bolt Action and modifying them into WWI 1918 German soldiers for playing ‘Blood and Valor’. I also… Read more »
Time to watch
HAPPY SUNDAY!!!!!
After a week of, let’s say, “challenging” days at work Thank You so much for being a refuge and sanctuary away from the “real” world and a chance to recharge in hobby.
Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday!!
FYI: the RubishIn RubishOut YouTube channel was run by the same guy that set up Knights of Dice, that do the MDF terrain, etc.
He also ran a retail store for Warganing, a software house and a hobby micro-brewery.
Interesting chap, from his vids.
Viv’s a great guy. Intermittently active on YouTube but always worth a watch. I really want to get into his MDF kits too.
Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday!
Tooth fairy prank…….
Put said tooth in chocolate icing( to simulate poo) on his pillow with a note from tooth fairy “found it”.
You could smear it around some to make it look like the fairy had a tough time. Totally safe and clean but Andrea will have to wash the bed cloths lol. Sorry in advance Andrea.
@warzan Have you considered putting tiny chocolate spread footprints over his bedsheets while he’s sleeping, and then leaving him a mucky 50p?
Sign me up for the Commune, but I’m not sharing my dessert or my French Dragoons!
The tooth fairy conundrum.
1. Leave some feathers to be found. This is the 1st attempted retrieval of tooth.
2. Next day escalate. More feathers and a little soil (crumbs biscuit) to demonstrate more in depth retrieval of tooth.
3. Final escalation, more feathers, more soil and a little tomey ketchup to show the deep retrieval. With a bill, detailing costs, leaving the wee fella with half what he would normally get.
That will be a story for the ages.
Congrats on the win.
Happy Sunday to one and all.
Morning guys, great show. Warren.. thanks for the mention re Codebusters, I love everything else you do, and Cult Radio was a blast, especially Anything Goes by ACDC (play it again this week, infact what about making it the opening theme music each week, seems like an apt title for the radio show) Re your lads tooth, what about encasing it in clear resin using one of the blue moulds you used for basing and presenting it to him, it’ll be an heirloom like Gimli kept Galadriels hair in LOTR, you could even give him a quest via clues around… Read more »
@warzan The pain in your wrist sounds like Carple tunnel strain( I am not a medical professional ) but have suffered similar.
REST is the best medicine…do not exercise it keeps the damage going. Keep it mobile but don’t over tax the joint.
You may have got it from too much typing without any support to your wrist.Pressure at the wrist inflames the small tunnel your soft tissue run through the joint.
It takes weeks to heal so don’t rush it!
Keep safe !
Happy Sunday guys, @warzan you need to leave your little lad a ransom note from the bogey man for his tooth, send him on a quest to find it!
For the ad campaign, perhaps make with an eye to people sharing it in Facebook groups.
I’d be more okay with sharing a smaller ad rather than a two hour long Weekender episode.
@warzan might be this one

The John Wayne Cavalry Trilogy (She Wore a Yellow Ribbon / Fort Apache / Rio Grande) [DVD] it’s difficult to get and the movies are directed by John Ford
I`m guessing the guy that built the big star wars ship… left him..!!!!!
Thanks for the show. Happy Sunday.
Yay bagpipe music the best way to start a show guy’s happy XLBS everyone.
Happy Sunday… Where is that paint shaking machine from I saw it on Amazon for a not so cheap price if £99.99?
Oh wow, wasn’t expecting to wake up to a golden button, @brennon both blades are indeed squiffy, by design as @avernos said, I don’t know if you have the model Jerry but I found it slightly strange that if I’d stuck him to the base as he comes he’d of been learning backwards at something like 45 degrees . . . Instead I chose to prop up his heels a little so he stood straight. Lloyd I’m really looking forward to seeing how your ad turns out, I’m not in NI, and I don’t have sky, but hopefully it’ll turn… Read more »
