Yay first cultists
Happy Sunday
You get first seat on the mothership.
A wonderful rehash of the year and quite a bit has gone on for the week. Good to have the update of goings on and perhaps these things will be revisited in the new year. Lloyd’s shed might be a feature if it ever dries and cures level.
it’s too damp to ever actually level off
Happy Sunday.
The marking on those monoliths Gerry look similar to those found in the Dark Crystal.
Goes to show Lloyd, even when doing 1:1 scale terrain you still need to seal it with pva glue. It’s a universal constant.
I’ve played less games but tried new things this year, like building a graveyard and doing my first diorama, both of which was great fun. Recently I’ve been doing kitbashing for Forbidden Psalm, something I’ve never really done all that much of in the past and it also a very refreshing change.
similar to them certainly, it’s the mix of lines and circles that helps.
I used to convert a lot, I mean like a lot a lot, so much so that the time that went into the conversion was excessive when multiplied out to the nth degree to make a whole army of same.
These days I mostly look for weird models that I don’t have to think about at all. How are you enjoying FP?
Converting can be a time sink. I spent three days of snowy weather on one miniature recently. I dread to think doing that for a whole army, although it would be very rewarding as if you be your own unique army in the end. One of my favourite bits of Forbidden Psalm are the omen cards, six cards each player gets to use once during a game, for a reroll, cause max damage or auto pass a death save in a campaign and various other effects. They allow you to somewhat calm down the luck of the dice and make… Read more »

Ha, with some of my projects it feels like 40 litres, lol.

Happy Sunday!
Thanks for dinging my button! The rest of the Umbrella Academy is well on the way, I uploaded a bunch probably while you were filming!
Have PTSD from Po throwing cars at my head, we need to put a limit on the number of vehicles that can be used as projecties 😉 😉 was good fun though.
And Dead Man’s Hand is always a blast to play, looking forward to more games
Journeys in Middle Earth is a great game. Lloyd trying to force it into a tabletop wargame is rather amusing, just go play SBG.
A Merry Christmas to all of you.
“Lloyd trying to force it into a tabletop wargame” – do it!
Oh, and Ben, I think you are talking about I.S.S. Vanguard and it’s a wonderful campaign game. Quite complicated to learn, but fun and it draws you in.
I’m a bit late in watching this, so I’m not sure if anyone will see this, but I would say this year has been one of my busiest and productive years with wargamming in years. Winning the Spring Clean Challenge and a golden button has built up my confidence so that I feel up for doing anything now.
Just under 2 mins in and already a solid gold episode!
