First! Merry Christmas!
Third! Merry Christmas
Woot! This has been great to see awesome reactions. @shayott Now you can field your nearly naked men with all their unit designation shields (be sure to check out the backs of the bases as they clue you in from where you play. Also, you can indeed play that SAGA thing that people keep talking about. Have fun. @lloyd Your COVID-19 came in regular and Omicron variant. Be sure to share with your wife. Bother your post office as I sent a rather large Baba Yaga hut model from Reaper. You too could’ve played SAGA with a proper Pagan Rus… Read more »
thanks once again and Merry Christmas to you and yours, now we shall have to think of an appropriate way to reciprocate
Thanks for the nearly naked men and I’m sure Gerry and I will get them on camera at some point! Merry Christmas.
North rampart, stand fast! South rampart… at 100 yards! Volley fire!

Oh is this lost in the post?
Cheers for giving me COVID for Christmas.
Happy Holidays to you mate!
Merry Sunday, Or Happy Christmas. That was a lot of fun. I was cringing as Lloyd opened his box. I’m surprised there weren’t a lot more casualties. I’m guessing the actor you couldn’t remember was Hiroyuki Sanada? Next year’s hobby will involve Forbidden Psalm (to start with) the playing of and collecting minis for and possibly terrain. I plan to do more dioramas, one of which I’m thinking of is Sengoku themed. I want to do more kitbashing and maybe scratch building of terrain or changing what I already have. Maybe I’ll even have time to get more Five Leagues… Read more »
Not finished the video yet as I have been summoned. Should get the rest watched after Christmas.
@shayott those 13.5mm French could be used as Pixies in Silver Bayonet.
@lloyd Alfonso’s well used musky bedding that you rubbed on your face and stuffed in your hat can be shaped then gently heated with a heat gun to toughen it up for use as tree foliage and rocky surfaces. Jimmy from our local club has done that and it looks good.
Oh I need to look into this 🙂
I used it to dress underneath my Christmas tree this year 🙂
@lloyd I swear I think I just came out of the shower and and that’s probably my after shave ?
Use the teddy bear stuffing and make fire as well as smoke plumes for musket fire.
Frohe Weihnachten…. you’re all on the list! 😉
Speaking of GunPla: Business daddy at least did two Gundam sponsorships with other youtube channels (painting phase and MS Paints) why not do that here?! XD
I have GunPla content in mind 😉
Merry Christmas folks!
Lloyd you are very welcome! I was getting burnt out on painting Samurai so I decided what the heck Lloyd can have these Samurai . Listening to you talk about really wanting a Samurai army and I figured you were not going to paint one up your self ( not trying to be rude but they are a pain in the ass to paint ?) i hope you put them to good use .
I’m glad I made your dream come true of having a Samurai force.
Best of Luck
Alfonso The Traitor.
They are amazing I can’t thank you enough for making a dream of having an army like this a reality.
I counted 255 minis and only have 5 with a bit of fixing needed!!!
Now I need to go and look at some rule to see how to play with them.
I got your message about the Kings Of War basing so that might be a good place to start.
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas all. Looking forward to more shenanigans in 2024 🙂
2023 isn’t done yet! 😉
The plans are already in motion for 2024. Don’t let Gerry tell you different. It’s like Brazilian Carneval, start planning a whole year away. This insanity takes time to pit together.
Happy Christmas and may 2024 be a good year.
@warzan For paniting Epic with mostly an airbrush you may find this useful, he does one for Traitors too, and he highlights using simple fast techniques so maybe this helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tRIp44CEHo&t=1312s
@avernos I assume the Shogun series you’ve not seen in full is the one with Richard Chaberlain, there’s a few oh I’ve seen him in something supporting actors, I remember it used to get shown in my region (Central), back in the earliy 80s, saw it a few times. Haven’t seen it for a very long time now, but even as a kid it was a good watch, its a bit Last Samurai crossed with Dances with Wolves. That makes sense when you’ve seen it. One of the particularly memorable parts is a mass ninja attack on a castle. Reminds… Read more »
Could the missing seasonal event be Summer Smackdown? Lots of projects with battle reports.
