Sorry
This video does not exist. ???
My bad – clearly didn’t hit save! Glad someone saved it…
But you can listen to the podcast
No! What am I going to watch now with Breakfast???
Thanks for fixing this, even early on a sunday.
Looks like zippy has grown a beard and become a games master
Exactly the same thought I had
Happy Sunday XLBSers and COGz ?
Yay Mr Bloby Germans ?!??
Yes they would look good for starship troopers troops?
Or GIJoe army’s.
Toy ants … 😉
I really like Ben’s idea of a Wild West participation game.
The fact that you can teach the game rules as well as run the competitive portion while neither interfere with each other is brilliant.
I’ve seen demos of a scaled up version of “Flick ’em up” (a wild west based dexterity game) and the embiggened version really helped draw in the crowd as well as sell the game itself.
Thanks 🙂 Yeah – I think it would be fun. The only thing is the vision in your head matching up to the reality of what you can make!
I’m working on building up my terrain and posses for a participation game for a scenario called The Great Beer Riot using Fistful of Lead rules.
Toy bugs Lloyd?
I sense Lloyd might be raiding the Early Learning Centre (does that exist anymore?)
Warzan will want the aliens for mars attacks ?!??
Yeah, I was thinking they’d make great sci fi baddies. Them or Zenthians from Hydra Miniatures.
A larger scale game for BT, dine it using various Robotech and Dougram kits( which have been redone)
Currently have Marauder, Wolverine ,Thunderbolt , Stinger and Wasp.
To be built have another Marauder, Rifleman and Archer.
When’s the Only Fan’s site starting ????
Bo Hiss all hail the space Smurfs ?
Fab show guy’s ?
“I prefer quick and nasty” – Hole Destroyer 2000 will certainly tick both those boxes 😀
Happy Sunday.
I haven’t used aerosol varnish for quite some time, ever since it fogged (once is too much). Now I just use brush on, usually Vallejo Mecha gloss first if it’s a metal model then Vallejo Mecha matt (after watching a Gerry Can on the subject).
I’ve been prepping for Bug Hunt, a spin off from Five Parsecs from Home. I’ve painted a whole box of Wargames Atlantic Harvesters, and I’m using metal models for my troops. The cool thing with the bugs is that you get alien eggs on the sprues which I’ll be using as blip markers.
I think @lloyd Hole Destroyer is a great idea for something that’s robust for travelling. Sheets or fleeces on the table with Lloyd’s sponge rocks along with the toy figures could be transported in a suitcase by plane. This could mean that one or two OTT crew could travel to any show that is near an airport that connects to Belfast. This would be classified as community engagement and could be termed a business expense. For shows like UKGE and Salute where OTT are broadcasting and taking a van I think a more spectacular game should be on show with… Read more »
Happy Sunday COGS to all your holes!!
Great entertainment for a Sunday.
I think someone did 40mm space hulk – looked amazing!
Sounds great. How about JoyToy or McFarlane (whichever of those does the ‘stealers) Space Hulk?
McFarlane do nids the joytoy one’s will be stunning when they start doing them like the marine’s are??
Clearly getting this video out required some massage of the system. I don’t want to know what kind of hole it went down previously as you describe Hole Smasher 5000!™ (The grimmmest dark arcade style tabletop game of flying lead and vicious killer bugs ready to rip off faces and limbs). I’m reminded of the videogame Cannon Fodder and how you might set it up @lloyd.
Happy Sund…. of flock it’s Monday already :S
I’d never heard of ‘Raven Feast’!
Thanks for the Golden Button.
