CoGs, OTTers and Backstagers I bid you happy Sunday!
This year’s progress for Terrainfest is quite good for the timeframe given it. Upping the length available to the builds will make the judging you’ll be doing that much harder. Congrats on paining yourselves into a corner…bwahahaha! I give a second to the ulrta-god-awful bright terrain of the Neon City playspace like CY_BORG from Free League. I think @blinky465 had at one time talked about a scrolling ultra thin LED display that would run imagery the likes of Bladerunner down a building. If you did something the size of a 6″x9″ wall it could be festooned with the ads from… Read more »
Starting (big) projects is easy.
Keeping a log of the things you do and have done so you could take part in a contest, is tricky but can be done.
Finishing them … not so much.
The bearded muskerteers return lol
I’m just at the 25 minute mark and Johns tickled my abandoned places / ruins TISUM haha I have so many books as reference for terrain

I’d like to do a city board based on Bioshock. Either city in the sky or bottom of the sea. Why hasn’t Bioshock got a miniatures game

Happy Sunday.
I watched a Scott Manly video on the demon bomb a while back. Very nasty.
Dishonored has such a great theme … that could make for a wonderfully unique table. It’s not quite steampunk (maybe whale punk? 😉 ), but it definitely has more technology than the victorian-era like styling suggests. And as for ‘ultimate table’ ? There’s soo many things I like that I’d want a table that could do multiple genres and never look odd. Like a desert table with a classic western town that’s either ‘new’ (for games set in the wild west) or abandoned/ghostly for games set in more modern era or a mix between both. It would have to feature… Read more »
Happy Sunday….
Dude those Skaven. Chapeau!
My dream board would consist of two Judge Dredd-style mega blocks, each with open access on two sides to allow miniatures to be placed inside. The two mega blocks would be linked with various walkways and roads at different heights. Beneath them would be a section of the underworld with playable access around the edges of the boar, or at least 3 sides of the board. At street level, I could then have riot judges and riot wagons whilst in the upper levels citidef and civies battling it out against each other whilst the judges fight their way up from… Read more »
I made that terrain as an MDF kit – but to do it DIY, even larger would be so fun. You should try make that!
