A fully colorful episode to catch this week. Not only in language but the painting as a swanky Skaven book for interesting clan outfits, flaming angel type warriors and the discussion on whether or not John’s pink/purple leopard print army will work for the next game he’s going to dive in on.
There was bad language?
I’m sure I heard a bum or winkle somewhere in there.
Why is John hiding in the store room?…Is he hiding from Justin and his attempts to buy Skavem
it’s a damn shame that GW has never re-visited those heraldry books for Warhammer fantasy.
That skaven book looks fantastic. It’s the kind of detail that I expect to find in “army of …” books for a given game to be honest.
Happy Sunday COGz an OTTers ✨?✨
Sunday drunken Sunday folk’s
Ben had Hobbit hands?

I checked the Warlord site as I was curious because I thought they had a Russian set. They don’t have a two player set with Russians but a big battle box. I have also seen that the old two player sets give you a unique code so you can get the third edition rule book for free. I do agree with you guys, they offer boxes with winter infantry then why not make a two player starter set to get you starting in that climate so that you can expand further in that climate and not have models from a… Read more »
and it allows players to learn about something other than D-day for a change …
I suspect that they don’t have a two-player set with soviets is because there’s no Americans in there.
(but then their desert war starter has British vs Italians so … ). It would be nice to have such a set though. The Stalingrad and Berlin sets are a bit too big and expensive for beginners.
They can add John Wayne Branagan?!? @avernos

Please do the Pate voices on your next WW2 game with the filters to make it look from the 40s
Happy Sunday.
Some great golden button winning projects there.
I’ve played a few hidden movement games and they very fun. I know one is called Whitechapel but I cannot remember the name of the cyberpunk one.
The Vallejo metal color range should be illegal they are so good. I keep promising myself to get more but so far Dark Aluminium has carried me along nicely (not too dark and not too bright).

we need the genetic code dammit!
Great show. I really enjoy it when you talk WW2. I also hope to see Warren again, maybe next week.
well he’s on 3 weeks holidays with the family so that’s doubtful
@avernos @brennon RE: Outlander you crossed the streams chaps, yes there has been a more recent Timey Wimey Outlander with Culloden, hope Mel brings a bridge for this one just to maintain the historical accuracy.
In 2008ish give or take there was a scifi film called Outlander being a cross between Predator and Beowulf, with a space cop chasing a large gribly alien, whilst running around John Hurts and Ron (gets in everything) Perlman dark age viking village.
Caught by the Shaft. Ouch!
