XLBS now added – enjoy, sorry about that…
*fist waving and grumbling commences before settling in and watching Lloyd go on about his grand four figure entry into Spring Clean* Harumph
I think Lloyd should still be encouraged to build Rome but as an incentive he would also be allowed to build a ruined version also that fits underneath so you could lift a building off the table and the ruined version would be showing
My grandfather was in the cameronians fighting around caen. I don’t know much about it but I’m going over in July. I was told he forgot a piece of equipment and was orderd back to get it and when he returned his unit had been decimated. I’ll have to find out more so nice to see you working on this
Gentlemen Broncos.. my brain hurts and so does my face. That’s not near as bad as @avernos with Llamageddon. Thanks to Tubi (I think) I will give @brennon the joy of Killer Piñata. Perhaps we can delve deeper and pull out Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.
#WhatAboutRomeLloyd 😉
In the year 2525
if Lloyd is still alive
will he have built Rome ?
And relax it’s the XLBS show folk’s
Rome you can make it in a day Lloyd ??
Gentlemen Broncos is a classic. I think it might be on Disney Plus. There is an after credit scene.
I was feeling bad about how much quicker @llyod was doing hobby than me, but then I saw the mould lines.
In this weeks Historical DRAMA!
@lloyd did a load of research for his Rome project, tried to downscale it from Rome to a minor settlement and then tried to convince @avernos to do it for him. Kids these days 😀
it’s an outrage!
Gerry does the forth bridge as well in some of his spair time Lloyd ??
Is that barbarella two ???
Some of the trucks in India look fabulous nowadays guy’s ?
Fab nutty show today guy’s ?
My Spring Clean Challenge project closed out the show! Truly honoured. Many thanks for the GB. That is all the encouragement I need to get on and get it all finished in time. Thank you.
Apologies to @lloyd for showcasing the Grizzly tanks that have been out of production for a long time now. They are really cool up close too by the way, not that that helps either. Why don’t you take your mind off it by building Rome.
Happy Sunday, lads you need to watch WW2TV on youtube, if you what the full breakdown of this battle and all the stuff which relates to it and anything else related to European theatre bloody brilliant channel.
i’m a member of the Tamworth Games Club in Tamworth Uk,(not the Australian one).. and on 8th and 9th of June we’ve been invited to Tamworth Castle to put on games in the Great Hall.On the Sat we’ll be doing “What a Tanker”,by Too Fat Lardies, and on the Sunday a big Chain of Command game based on Operation Charnwood which was part of the battle for Caen.Like you said, hopefully there’ll be a lot going to commemerate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings. If anybody finds themseleves in the area on those particular days…pop in and meet us.
Am I still having fever dreams or is Lloyd high on FFG “special stash”? What the flock did I see?
Ben’s mic was so quiet, or was he doing his smoulder voice?
Hey @grayprimer you should find Ben is much easier to hear now 🙂
That’s much better balanced – thanks Lloyd!
Our club have been playing D Day landings for the last two years and not at the last Airborne action yet
Once upon a time we were all body builders

The hotel clocks show the difference in timezones for Hong Kong, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow
Late to pary as usual, catching up on this today, Villers Bocage, there are some very good you tubes on the battle, including a live one done a couple of years back
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXLUTQn_ngY
they actually have someone driving through the area to get some perspective on what both sides could see on day.
And I already began redoing small numbers of WW2 squads for ‘Buts; but think migh try V for Vicroty to see how they do it.
