He aten’t dead!
Yippee… it’s the weekend again! ?
Here we go… table top fix needed!
I love the Orktober Tank and indeed a hell of a lot of Kromlech’s conversion bits as well as Victoria Miniatures components, but I do worry about mixing with GW main stuff as they appear to be so strict on only using GW miniatures and components in any photos, Armies on Parade or painting entries. I get that they want to promote only GW kits and for gamers and painters to only use GW products. So how can I sneak one into a GW competition? After all, they don’t check where I get my paints from…
It is your Hobby. You should buy, build, kitbash and paint (and as a bonus, play) the models you like however you like. Don’t be intimidated by GW marketing psychology tactics.
Life is too short and hobbytime too precious to be worrying about whether your idea for an awesome ork kitbash will fulfill the restrictions imposed by some Anonymous GW Marketing Manager and their next PowerPoint Presentation showing off their Key Performance Indicators.
Would an Ork care about such rules? No. Neither should you. So, more dakka, more gubbinz.
…unless you really are seriously going to enter GW painting competitions and Armies in Parade or whatever. Then, I guess, you will have to respect their “my House, my Rules” restrictions.
I want that Tiger!
loving the Ork Tank
Haven’t even started watching yet but yey for 1st Corps. I believe they do nice sheep
They do have a nice range of pretty much everything
What? Weekend already?
It is about the same time every week ;o)
Are you sure?
no, sorry i do not have a funny reply
Has FFG jumped the pricing shark?
…maybe. As I say, it’s all about whether or not this version of Descent is actually worth that price point.
Yay the weekender is on.
I did not like the big ork gaint trashcan, but this orc tiger is just right. I think it will look good on my shelf ;o) Not Gerry’s shelf that is to full, he needs more space. ;o)
starship troopers would be great for imp Guards.
if bonny an Clyde are both shooting whos driving?
Death Watch aka the imperial bastards?
Surely that would be The Last Chancers?
Lol.
It’s the Weekend, again again!
Missing the chance to play multi-player Core Space at the m,oment – must give it some solo runs..
Schweeet paint job Justin! Nice colour scheme well applied with useful cheats. Back with a bang, you should feel proud!
Justin! Glad to see you back on the show.
Don’t forget Empress Miniatures for a decent range of ECW figures.
Funnily enough, we do mention that on XLBS 🙂

Early evening viewing, what a treat,
and Justin is back too,
and tigerwagon is best wagon!!!
Welcome back to the screen Justin! Your new army looks amazing! excellent work The Orktiger looks great. If only GW orks did too. Llyod stole the show with the ‘All legion minis are limited edition’ (sic) comment. So funny, because it’s true. It’s why I haven’t got into that game. The ships for Victory at Sea look fantastic! especially with the sea-bases. FFG and Descent. I wish they’d just settle on a game and run with it. Rune Wars, Rune Bound, Heroes of Terrinoth, Battlelore and Descent all in the same setting. All incompatiple with each other. Each had good… Read more »
> Rune Wars, Rune Bound, Heroes of Terrinoth, Battlelore and Descent all in the same setting. It’s less of a setting than it is a catch-all for whatever generic fantasy game comes out. Descent and Runebound, two popular FFG games, were never regarded for their setting on BGG. > each dropped to produce another game in that setting rather than ironing out issues in that ruleset FFG continues with the expansions until sales fall, then they start a new line. That’s what happened to their Arkham Horror / Eldritch Horror / Arkham Horror 3rd edition games, as well as Mansions… Read more »
Terrinoth was a distinct setting. They even did an RPG in it. Monsters that are unique to that setting in all of them. They pushed the setting but it never took.
I dealt with FFG as a retailer, more than customer. It was infuriating because they always had poor production projections (still do)and even game developers couldn’t tell you if a game was going to be reprinted let alone expanded.
Argghh, those victory at sea bases again. They were what turned our group off new fleets. Lost sales for warlord. Even if they had made them separate from the emeryboard bases so you didn’t have to have your fleet look like they were sitting around in individual inflatable pools…Shame, shame, shame.
Happy Friday!!!
So happy to be home and relaxing with you guys!!
