Forget Warhammer & Paint These Instead! New Conquest City States Miniatures Revealed! #OTTWeekender
January 6, 2023 by dignity
It's OTT Weekender time! In this episode, we're having a look at the brand new City States miniatures for Para Bellum Games' Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings which would be brilliant to start off the new year. Forget Warhammer and paint these instead.
The City States miniatures are a fantastic range of Fantasy and Historical. A twist on the Ancient Greeks with some absolutely heroic-looking individuals and mighty monsters for this 35mm Fantasy miniatures wargame. A perfect alternative to playing the likes of Warhammer Age Of Sigmar.

Förster!
No towel.?
Doesn’t making a “Dogs of War” faction for Conquest, where some guys are Spire and some guys are human, nord, etc. mean you have to use the rules of multiple factions all at once? Can’t help but think that will cause a headache for whomever plays them…
Hello editor! I’ve got a cunning plan! Every time @avernos says “but I digress” a squirrel needs to run across the screen!
Do it! 8)
Happy weekender time has resumed.??
Happy New year lads, nice to have you back…
Tut tut Ben women always look better with their guns out.?
Flanges?
Boarding Actions is one of the few 40K releases that has tickled my pickle for a long while. Maybe it calls back to my Space Hulk days or maybe it’s just because it doesn’t need an insane number of over-priced models and/or weird symbols instead of numbers.
Good to be back to normal whatever that is. Happy New year everyone.
Hay the Ultramarine film was good I think anyway.
It’s the Weekender!
Love the ‘Bloody Miniatures’, so many really nice minis. I do believe I will be buying up many of these for my ‘Musketeers Days’ game play. Oh the possibilities! Once I saw the ‘City States’ pics, (earlier this week), coming for Conquest from Para Bellum I told myself I will be buying a new army for Conquest. Now I see his two player starter box with City States and Nord and now I see myself buying two new armies. I had resisted getting the Nords but now if I’m buying the two army box I might as well dive into… Read more »
Fantastic games questing mat books I’ll need to get one when I see one out shopping.
Great to see you back guy’s.
Welcome back.
Man I’m tempted by the City states. They look amazing!
Same, man. As if I need a new project but heck yes I’m tempted.
Happy new year!! 2023 Weekender is looking as awesome as 2022!
I love the new conquest miniatures. I own a big box and I really want to paint my 100 kingdoms and spires armies… but my pile of grey shame is even bigger after christmas. Althought I recently painted a BIG group of lotr minis, I have to paint a wonderful blood bowl second season box and finish my bolt action german army before Para Bellum conquest reaches the production queue… I will never get rid of the grey tsunami! XD
Really like the look of those Kings of War Ambush sets. Very tempted! Great show as ever, have a fantastic weekend folks.
Quite like the Chinese from Eureka…will have to get a few of those.
this bloody miniatures are perfect for my BAUERNKRIEG project in 2025
Some nice minis on display from bloody minis ?
I’d like to take Silver Bayonet back 175 years and use Bloody Miniatures.
Do it! Do it!
Do it! Do it! Do it! Etc
Judge Fish is a bonus if you get the game direct from Rebellion. worth a go if you have six friends. I didn’t feel the need 🙂
New year, new hobby, new videos!
Conquest Scum and Villainy sound great but it’s the Weird Greeks for me. Stop tempting me!
Hope you pledged for your Loke acrylic doors set on BackerKit!
