it’s awesome being first, especially when you give people 12 minutes to beat you and they don’t bother
I thought…no..I know.. I am number 1
Marc Singer played Mike Donovan (the cameraman character) in V and the original series was 2 episodes (3 hours) + Final Battle which was 3 (4.5 hours) for a total of 5 episodes and was classed as miniseries, then it ran for a full series only a single one after that just called V. Michael Ironside’s character was called Ham Tyler and appeared in both series.
Hah, thanks for the information
well if it wasnt for work, power naps and power ballads to @ben i would have been 1st. also i had to start my weekend off with the greatest movie ever made. so i have reasons.
Tortoise and hare… you know wins in the end! ? oh well maybe next week?
It helps being a Time lord
jellybean?
To be fair it took me 4 hours to recover from the Shock Ben thought Sam Neil was the best Merlin when clearly Nicol Williamson is.
Yay the Weekend is here
Some great work in show from Black Site this week. The Xenos hugger is creepy and looks great. I have also signed up to the Last Light project alerts and they have some great puzzles that let you enter for a prize bundle ?
They have been doing some awesome stuff. The quality is going up and up too.
incredible..still the first one to reply even when other people have gotten here ahead of me. what can I say but tacgenius is a legend. He is truly the first in whatever he does.. sorry avernos…not first in my book.
Time is a construct
strategy beats tactics I feel 😉
From what I recall of V, the original had the voice modulator stuff, but the season that followed they dropped the modulator for some reason and it was cancelled after that.
V and Final Battle good as a self contained mini series.
The reboot in 21st century was awful, although Jane Badler did appear as Diana at some point.
I was trying not to buy the minis, but watching weekend on TV they looked amazing… credit card coming online.
And I just found the DVD’s on ebay for under a fiver…
maybe they dropped the modulator because it was too expensive and tricky to use ? This was the 80’s and technological effects weren’t as cheap and reliable to use. No computers for adding more fancy effects either.
I also remember something about the resistance finding a way to fake it … not sure if that actually happened.
It was/is a cool idea for a tv-show with just the one problem that shows like this always have : what to do when the good guys win ?
It’s the Weekender!
Hobby on Gamers ??
Happy weekender COGz.
The sword an the stone Ben?
Old Dominion are the ones, very cool looking.
Cursed City I was excited it’s coming back though in reality I wouldn’t play it so I’ll hopefully just not get it..
the violent dark beasts remind me of them thing’s from the tomorrow war film
the brain things look creepy as hell.
Not first, but still made it on the board 🙂
Bring on warzone. More warzone.
the over runner buggy’s may be great for GI Joe players?
it could be a cigar the Dorf has in his mouth. Lloyd?
the skimmer reminds me of the Wookie skimmers?
the robots with the screen faces could be a Robocop Kane army?
loved the show guy’s.
Private Horowitz, when Sergeant Perkins ordered you into the field in order to display the “epic shit firepower of the Colonial Space Marines to the local populous with a massive Grunter” it was reported later that you commandeered an AAT mobile unit from the motor pool and proceed directly to within 150 meters of the enemy entrenchment that had been resisting our forces for the past week. It was there that witnesses report that you halted the transport while under enemy fire, leap to the front glacis, proceed to drop trou and then suspend yourself off the forward plating before… Read more »
The 7TV stuff is ace I always look longingly at it when I go to shows.
Happy Saturday.
An interesting indie like always, yep Gerry is right about Merlin, Bob Naismith is so good he kept popping in during the indie of the week as well and lots of interesting miniatures to delight in.
Good show.
aye he’s a mainstay of our industry the lighthouse that guides the company ships
There were two versions of V the first came out in the 80s and the reboot was more recent probably early 2000s. Both are pretty good to watch.

Gerry is right about Merlin from Excalibur.
I love the look of those Old Dominion minis.
Have you guys looked at 1:48 Tactics for an indie of the week? I just picked up a couple starter sets.
