Come and join us for another delve into the Projects to find the best of the best from the last week or so. We're going to be getting stuck into lots of great looking miniature wargaming painting and hobbying this week...

Community Spotlight: Massive Transports, Classic Trolls & A One-Eyed Wanderer

...make sure to always let us know what YOU have been working on and share it across the site.

Hardcell-Class Transport by fleboy

If you're looking to check out something absolutely massive for your tabletops then what about this project from fleboy? Here we have one of the Hardcell-Class Transport from The Clone Wars which you might have seen getting shot down by the Galactic Republic during that climactic battle.

Hardcell-class Transport #1 by fleboy

This absolutely massive tabletop piece was crafted basically from scratch with styrofoam/polystyrene and a lot of MDF. Some of the additional accessories were then completed in TinkerCAD and this came together to create a dominating piece of terrain. This is one of those products where you can't quite work out how it got turned into the terrain you see above, based on a pile of components like this...

Hardcell-class Transport #3 by fleboy

There are lots of different breakdown images and such showing off how the terrain got from the early stages to the tabletop. You can see the massive pile of foam here which eventually got cut and shaped to become the individual components, broken down into their parts ready for undercoating as you can see here.

This is a brilliant looking project which is well worth diving in to look through, especially if you're a big Star Wars fan. This is going to be the centrepiece for a big themed tabletop and I think it would look immense when compared to big tanks and the troops scattering beneath it as explosions go off around them.

Confrontation Troll by longlivethesheep

We get a little smaller this time around and look at the work by longlivethesheep next. Here we have a finished Confrontation Troll, dragged from the archives and turned into a wonderful little nod towards this game that has now faded into memory.

Confrontation Troll #1 by longlivethesheep

I really liked the detail that was worked into the skin of the Troll here. I love the different tones running from dark through to light and the way that has then been continued across the bones and talons too. This is then contracted nicely with the metal armour and the spot colour of purple which works really well. This is a very cool looking model!

The project from longlivethesheep has been looking at painting up a lot of miniatures which have been sitting unloved for a while. You can go and check out around ten different projects right now which go from the small through to the big like this fellow. I like this chunky boy as a good showcase of longlivethesheep's talents.

Odin The Allfather by crazyredcoat

Another single miniature project for us to look at from the equally as talented crazyredcoat. Here we have the stunning Allfather, Odin himself, who has been taken from the Footsore Miniatures & Games collection and turned into a leader for the tabletop.

Again, this is a great showcase of talent which looks at some lovely little details. I really like how the clothing has been painted and especially how the highlighting and shading has been done. The darker tones then contrast really nicely with the white beard and the two ravens who are watching from his shoulders.

Odin #2 by crazyredcoat

I am a sucker for anything Viking and so seeing this awesome take on Odin was enough to catch my eye. Much like with the project from longlivethesheep, you are able to go and see more of the awesome painting by crazyredcoat across all manner of genres on the link above.
