Come and join us for another delve into the Forums and Projects to find the best of the best from the last week or so. We're going to be getting stuck into lots of great looking pieces this week...

...make sure to always let us know what YOU have been working on and share it across the site.

Napoleonic Prussians by chilledenuff

The first project we're going to be looking at comes from chilledenuff and his work on this awesome Prussian Army that he's going to be using for Sharp Practice. The mix of troops comes from both the Warlord and Perry ranges and is already looking great.

Napoleonic Prussians #1 by chilledenuff

Some of the finished work so far has gone into 15th Line Infantry 1st Battalion as you can see above and this command element of the force. The painting is very slick and has managed to skirt that line between looking realistic and also poppy when it comes to viewing it on the tabletop. I really like that the blues, reds and yellows have all been kept bright so that they draw the eye.

The same level of care and attention carries over to these Volunteer Jaegers in their trademark dark green with yellow trim.

Again, I appreciate the clean and tidy paint job that has been used for these models. In particular, I think the picking out of the facial details is really important as it helps to add some character to these soldiers as they're racing around on the tabletop.

A few more soldiers have also come together nicely too, shown here crossing a bridge as they head to battle.

The consistent basing across all of the models is a nice touch too as it means that even if your army gets spread out and contains many different elements you'll still find yourself with a cohesive looking force.

There is a lot more work going into this project over on the link above which you can dive down into of course. I commend anyone who takes on a big project, especially for something like the Napoleonic era, with all of its pomp and ceremony. I hope to see a colourful Prussian force by the end of it!

Dragonborn Triumphant by darkdanegan

We then step from the realm of the Historical to that of the Fantastical. darkdanegan has been at it again, painting up this fantastic take on the Dragonborn Triumphant from Modiphius.

Dragonborn Triumphant by darkdanegan

The painting here is fantastic and has really captured the look of the character from the iconic Elder Scroll's artwork. The leather is looking tough and well-worn, the metal rough and ready and it all comes together to create a very nice looking vignette.

As well as the model looking fantastic the base also looks great. The dead dragon tail is shown curling up around the Dragonborn and the snowy tufts of grass put you in the world of Skyrim from the video games. A fantastic piece!

Hellboy Heroes by joshtogo

Last but not least we're looking at the work by joshtogo again here where we're exploring his take on Hellboy. Here is the character himself in a couple of different guises.

Hellboy #1 by joshtogo

The painting here is looking brilliant once again, giving us a look at this fantastic character with a comic book edge to the style. The red in particular across his musculature looks great and it's nice to see different types of red being used to highlight.

As well as Hellboy himself we also saw some work going into the character of Johann here who again looks like he has been taken from the pages of the graphic novels which is cool.

Hellboy #3 by joshtogo

The same goes for Liz here too who hs shown summoning up fire, ready to burn things to a crisp.

Hellboy #2 by joshtogo

Across the collection of painted models from joshtogo I was very impressed with how he'd added little spotlight colours here and there to make the models pop. For example, on Liz, you've got the fiery eyes and on Hellboy the yellow glow gives you the impression that he is glaring at his enemies as he gets sucked into the violence.

It's well worth going over to the project on the link above where joshtogo has also shown off the characters in action on the tabletop.
