Celestial Painters Interview: Francesco Farabi
June 28, 2018 by dracs
Francesco Farabi from Bellerofonte Art Studio joins Sam for an interview on his stunning entry into the Celestial Miniatures Painting contest.
Painting Nuwa, Francesco takes us through his inspirations and how he constructed the frame for the piece. Using two main colour tones between the frame and the model itself, Francesco highlights how each tone compliments each other.
What two colour tones would you have used for the piece?

Some really nice skills there.
I adore Francesco’s interpretation of Nuwa. moody, sorrowful and utterly beautiful. with Francesco’s masterful guidance i begin to see just how astonishing this piece really is. understand the levels involved, i did not. but understand how it made me feel, i did.
i’d just like to say thank you to Francesco for gifting us with half an hour of pure gold. i was left in wonder and amazement time and again. should you teach a seminar in the UK, i sir will most certainly be there.
