Today the guys from Firelock Games are kicking off the week of gaming with a rescue mission as the English try to save their captured countryman from the new Native American faction.

Got up early to watch this video. Love this scenario. So I think those young warriors out on the flank should have cut behind the rock and burned the unprotected longboat. Better yet they could have boat-jacked it and rowed out and captured the ship!
I really like the look of this game but can’t find a 2-player starter set any where in the UK. Without this it’s just too expensive for me to buy all the stuff needed to play, hopeing that I can convince my friends to buy into it.
Goto their online store. They’ve got two player bundles.
Yeah but the customs charges etc to the UK make it way too expensive.

So would like this. Never did see who won from the last B&P week. Game looks so good.
Game looks and plays great. Not having the right scenery has kept me from picking this up. But a nice mat and a some scatter can go a long way. The new factions round out the forces well.
It would be nice to have space to store all the scenic tables needed for different games. I’d probably throw down the cloth mat from Dreadfleet and some land tiles.

Great game! I really love the background for this. It played really well and was fun to watch. Looking forward to more games of this.
Too bad the Captured Merchant/prisoner couldn’t prevent the use of Evade with the High Standing. (it only works on most of the other “free-move” rules)

Every time I see a Blood and Plunder lets play the table always looks so lush and fantastic! Planning some Drowned Earth boards that will now also be used for blood and plunder.
Not sure if there is a big player base where I am in Aus, but I am sure I can get some people hooked. 🙂

After being away for 2 weeks on an palmtree island* in middle of nowhere with no internet (shock horror!), stoked to return to the warm dice rolling comfort of BoW and find out it’s Blood n Plunder week! Great fun game to watch, looks like the locals know the lay of the land well 😀
More B&P lets play please! Just wish had some scurvy crew that were as keen on this awesome lookin game as me round these parts!
*looked for treasure…didn’t find any…but they did have a King Cobra in the camp that kept us on our toes!

Great battle report! I will be playing several of the new factions. Especially some of the minor european powers.
Ya the mat is from Deep Cut ; can buy more water and land to match the coastal piece here. Definitely want to buy soon
Natives a more interesting faction now that I have seen some gameplay. Initially wasn’t sure how they would fair against the more established factions. Play close to some Spanish units but have a great guerrilla tactic feel to them I think

I am liking the look of this game.
Natives is one of the most interesting factions. Lets enter a lot of narrative games. Missions on exploring the island, searching for treasure, the source of eternal youth.
Really exciting game to watch. Sound of thunder is a pretty interesting rule.
Think I will get myself a copy of the rule book. Looks a proper good game
