Blood & Plunder Campaign Overview

The designers behind Blood & Plunder tell us about the campaign system in the new book No Peace Beyond The Line.
The campaign system will let players track progress of their feats across multiple games and should add an extra layer to your Caribbean adventures.
What do you think of playing campaigns?
We’ve been running an on going campaign for a while now. House rule, but I’m glad Firelock Games is embracing campaigns as well.
It’s fun to watch a captain progress and it brings a little gravity to some choices knowing it effects your next game as well.
I like the Campaign system – Have to try it in anger
great to get more out of the games.
We tried the “Alpha” before the kickstarter began shipping; they used to restrict your access to buying new tiers of resources based on the card you played. I must also say, it burned a bit when your commander was permanently removed and the replacement would face setbacks in advancement… Hopefully soon our group will use the current system as a backbone for a narrative-type campaign
