Blood & Plunder: Brethren VS Portuguese After Action Report
November 8, 2018 by dignity
Mike and Rufus from Firelock Games join Justin to discuss cavalry tactics and more in Blood & Plunder.
Following up from their previous game with the Brethren of the Coast and the Portuguese the guys talk about the new units seen in the battle and the abilities and strategies employed.
Which of the other factions would you want to see next?
A good video Guy’s love the close up view of all the figure’s weren’t horse’s smaller back then but or was that earlier again more Genghis Kahn’s time ?
@zorg horses by this time were basically identical to today’s horses.
The 11th century is the latest I’ve heard for the “standardison” of horses to what we know now. Before that you had some bigger horses used by cavalry and a lot of smaller horses used for chariots and transportation.
On thinking didn’t knights use the big shire type horse’s to take the armour weight ? @elessar2590 early again.
I love how versatile the miniatures are in ‘Blood and Plunder’.
With some of the minis being capable of serving on many different crews, each crew can be so diverse.
It can make the game easier on the most cost-conscious gamer. Or like myself, allow me to use the same minis, (bought many times), but painted in different
colors to represent different forces.
I’m feeling to need to place another order from Firelock Games and expand my European Forces.
