New Blitz Trailer Hits For Suicide Squad Movie
April 11, 2016 by brennon
Following the news of some incredibly expensive re-shoots for Suicide Squad it seems apt that we'd now get a new trailer which continues to push the comedic side of things in this movie. Check out the Blitz trailer above...
We get a lot more of the humour coming through in this trailer and plenty of action too. The film was always looking like it could be a lot of fun and I hope that they're able to deliver when the film arrives in August.
I won't say too much more for those who might have clicked here by accident and want to avoid spoilers! Give the trailer a watch and let us know your thoughts...
Will you be seeing this one in the cinema?

I’m very disappointed. All this time I’ve been getting excited to see Suicide Squid. Guess I should get new glasses….
Yeah, I keep wondering where Dwayne Dibbley is going to be at … or Detective Bullet (Cybernautical division)
I’m really liking the trailers they are putting out for this film but it’s weird to think that they were originally going to play this straight. Great song too! Pity it wasn’t the Wayne’s World / Tia Carrere version 😉
Was not sure on the Joker in this – but the more i see of him, the more i’m liking it. Not a must see (hello Deadpool 2), but now on the radar for me.
I’m a huge movie fan but when it comes to superhero movies I’d rather burn my eyes out with hot spoon than watch one, but on this occasion I’m rather tempted to watch it. The trailer actually makes me want to watch a superhero movie finally…..
This movie looks like it could put the DC film universe on the right track. It bugs me that Marvel is blowing them out of the water with the quality of their films.
Was looking forward to this but after the negative reaction to the non-Marvelness of Batman vs Superman (i.e. it’s not all jokes and bright colours), I’m dreading what this movie is being turned into seeing as the it’s suffering re-shoots to make it more “light-hearted”.
Worrying.
My negative reaction was down to its director’s total inability to get to grips with character, motivation, and storytelling. Not a bad movie, but one that just sorta happened. In fact, rather than send SQ to re-shoots, the quickest way to get themselves on track is get a better storyteller on board. It worked wonders for Avengers Assemble. Not so much for Age of Ultron, but the studio was involved by that point.
IF they needed to see the BvS reviews to re-cut/shoot it then (a) the studio was in denial and (b) this movie was in really bad shape … I’m not sure if it will be better (getting flashbacks of Southpark & George Lucas episode … ;)). The thing is … with all the trailers we’ve seen about 10 minutes of this movie already. I think I’m better of not watching any more before they spoil too much. I just wonder one thing : are we going to see the original cut and the ‘theatrical release’ once this gets to blu-ray… Read more »
Not usually a fan of this kind of movie – but Dirty Dozen of the 21st century?
Please stop that Superman vs Batman thing from spoiling the end 😉
I am still more excited about Suicide Squad than I ever was about BvS.
Always good to hear The Sweet
Sure … but it felt wasted.
Compare that to how Shrek 3 used the Immigrant song intro followed by ‘Barracuda’ :

*that* is how you use these songs in an action sequence
looks promising.
The joker, Harley Quinn well all of looks just bad Harley just sounds and looks horrible the joker same deal I doubt this will do good
I hope that when this eventually hits blu-ray the original cut is included as an extra. I want to see it how the director intended it, not what the studio demanded.
