December 31, 2024 by brennon
January 2025 will see the release of reinforcements for the Union in Armoured Clash. Three sets will be coming out to support the initial releases from Warcradle Studios for the third faction for their 10mm wargame, giving you additional troops, vehicles and more to choose from when building the army you prefer.

Leading the way is the Lakota Battlegroup Set which comes with a mixture of both infantry and vehicles that you can use to bolt on to the Starter Set and the Introductory Set. This set drops the extra gameplay gubbins, rules and such in favour of just giving you more miniatures to play with. It breaks down as such...
- 1x Lakota Heavy Rail
- 6x Federal Trooper Platoon
- 4x Pacifier Heavy Infantry Platoon
- 4x Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon
- 2x Federal Gatling Fireteam
- 2x Federal Rocket Fireteam
- 2x UR-31E Arc Trooper Fireteam
- 5x Iron Horse Cavalry (may also be built as Blazer Heavy Cavalry)
- 2x Ironhide Transports (may also be built as Lamplighter Flame Trucks)
Slot all of these new miniatures into the mix and you'll be able to play some very big games of Armoured Clash or indeed have different options for your smaller games. Talking of smaller games, you might just want a boost of infantry of armour for your Union force. Well, that's where these two sets come in.
Union Armoured Regiment // Armoured Clash
These are smaller sets that you can use to give you a few extra options and maybe build the alternative options for a couple of these sets. Maybe you build the Rolling Thunder but you now want the Kodiak Artillery Tank? Well, this set is what you'll be looking for. Inside, you get...
- 2x Rolling Thunder Main Battle Tanks (may also be built as Kodiak Artillery Tank or Reaper Arc Tanks)
- 4x UR-45 Heavy Mechs (may also be built as UR-45E Arc Mechs)
- 5x UR-31E Iron Eagle Cavalry
- 2x Armstrong Heavy Artillery (may also be built as Moab Thermobaric Mortars)
If you'd prefer to bulk out your infantry options then you can also get the Union Infantry Regiment.
Union Infantry Regiment // Armoured Clash
This set does the same as the Armoured Regiment but with your foot-slogging infantry, battling it out for objectives in places where your big vehicle can't go. You can see what you can get your hands on in the set here...
- 6x Federal Trooper Platoon
- 4x Pacifier Heavy Infantry Platoon
- 4x Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon
- 2x Federal Gatling Fireteam
- 2x Federal Rocket Fireteam
- 2x UR-31E Arc Trooper Fireteam
- 5x Iron Horse Cavalry (may also be built as Blazer Heavy Cavalry)
- 2x Ironhide Transports (may also be built as Lamplighter Flame Trucks)

Armoured Clash Union Deep Dive! Rules, Army Building & More
Have a watch and tell us if the Union will find its way to your painting table soon. The Union has a really nice look and feel to it with a good mixture of different vehicles and infantry that have a distinct style. Match that with what equates to a hovering land train and I think a lot of folks might be sold.
Are you going to be picking up some new Armoured Clash releases in the new year?

That land train is something else. It’s a 12″ long model… It looks properly imposing on a 10mm board.
Love the land train, that’s going to be an awesome piece on the table, and would also make great scenery too! The Ironhide Trucks look brilliant, they really carry that sort of tall western pioneer wagon vibe into the steampunk setting.
