I think the cloth looks good, just maybe a bit too clean, but good. I’m more surprised that painting with a couple of thin coats isn’t something people do all the time. The Smurfcast Eternals look awesome!
My issues, purely because of my job, is that the fewer coats the better for me. But that’s just down to time constraints from my side of things.
That’s a great looking army, really good to see it in all it’s finished glory. There are still some of the eternal’s models im not too well sold on, but that is a great looking force by anyone’s standards. Big thumbs up.
Would love to see John take on another big model parts to painted for the next vlogs, like the rock idol and mech golem that were done.
Now play a game John!!!! I want to see one of your gorgeous armies in a game.
Great job John! I absolutely love the basing, I don’t think it’s too busy at all. Will be pinching some of your ideas for my stormcast when I finally get round to painting them. However I think I will paint them slightly more teal than blue and although I think the clean cloth looks great I will go for a dirtier cream look. I’m not sure I have the patience to do 3 coats on all the cloth!
Really enjoyed this vlog series. Think the end result looks smashing. Nice one John.
Now do the ghosties!
Lovely stuff
Great work on the army John you should get a Russian great coat for all the gold button’s for projects over the year’s you will look like a war hero.
Looks amazing, fav AoS army ever
Came together really well I think. Glad you’re pleased with the results.
Shown me that with a bit of discipline you can get a great looking army on the table in a few weeks. (I never seem to be able to 😉 )
The painting looks great but all the photos have a green cast to them.
Looks good John… for you next project I think you and Justin should take on Baccus’ 6mm army challenge…
Great job John! As we say in so cal. You be you man. Now I’d like to see you play ah ga,e with some of your painted minis. You,never seem to get to do that., show them off a little you earned it. Well done !
They look bloody gorgeous mate! You should be dead proud! Always nice to see non gold Stormcast.
They look awesome John, perfect for the gaming table, and I have to say, I fear this damn ballista. We are playing Path to Glory and my opponent have now spend some glory to get this ballista, damn I fear it with my Sylvaneth.
came out great dude.
nice clean paint work. really well done. they look like there fresh from the forge.
if you wanted to make them look battle worn and just come off a long campaign of fighting. how would you show the damage but still keep the bright paint work? ( so no mud or grime on them. just damage and wear)
Well, Sir, you’ve done it again, paint jobs brilliant and the base sets them off. A BIG WELL DON. Love your colours.
