Yes the kangaroo cavalry is silly and that’s why I love them.
I certainly like the freedom that the Mortal Realms has given the GW crew.
I completely agree there! I love the wacky things they can add to the setting from time to time. It’s been talked about a bit, but I would love for them to do this kind of mad stuff with the Exodite Eldar, if they ever revisit them.
And bring back the wacky-ness in the Ork armies (both 40k and AoS) too.
They’ve become a little too serious for their own good.
While I’m sure they won’t do it, I would genuinely like to see some Digga Nobs come back… The Greenskins deff need some of their wackiness, though.
Still not first?
better than me, better than 3
3rd, better than 4th
My vote would be Battlefleet Gothic. It’s been a long time, it would also capitalize on the Asmodee / FFG / AMG Star Wars Armada “out of stock’ issue ( or limited edition ) and games workshop is easily available ( as long as it’s not Limited Edition. Have the old and older versions and enjoyed their simplicity and complexity at the same time ( like Warhammer Fanstasy battle 2nd and 3rd edition – the time of massed battles, a time long passed but not forgotten). additional shout out to the Roo Riders, hate to say it but the steeds… Read more »
Can’t really warm up to the realm lords. idk.
Brigade Models….. all the Celtos you could want!
There are quite a lot of the Celtos miniatures that I would be very happy to own just as individuals to paint.
I still do have a ton of those… from when they still where made by iKore. member iKore? 😉
yush
Damn, wife wants to watch a film… Looks like I’m going old school and spending Saturday morning with OTT in bed…
Weekender works well whatever the day 😉
happy weekender guys!!!!
Good to see you finally got to Brigade Models. One of my top 5 miniatures companies
I also knew there was something I meant to keep doing and so A billion suns has now been preordered
I have a feeling that Gerry is going to keep us very appraised of his progress with A Billion Suns over the next few weeks.
Just dusted off my German Dystopian War fleet. Looks like I’m going to have to dust off some BFG fleets as well! Billion Suns is getting ordered today
you won’t be disappointed
Yuss, it’s the weekend! Lumineth are weird, but good weird I think. I especially like it how many people DON’T like them. It means GW are really trying something different. I mean, Cow/Roo Elves. How awesome is that?
I do agree that it’s neat to see them trying something new. Good to have a unique selling point for your range.
I would like to volunteer to be the Tasty Boys fan club president.

So happy to see Brigade Models getting some well deserved attention and shared with the larger community. Hands down my favourite pusher of grade A class models feeding my habit since I set eyes on my first blower tank. Big fan of the David Drake Hamners Slammers universe, which I am currently re-reading for the umpteenth time by volume, and Brigade are my port of call for White Mice and Hogs since Ainsty castings…Brigade are a great bunch of people to deal with and every range they have is worth a peruse. You really should revisit, I do almost daily.… Read more »
We might have to really dive in and do Brigade as a double feature for Indie!
Brigade deserve all the attention given they are such a great bunch of people with top quality service. I was so happy to see Brigade models getting attention and shared with others, having Brigade models discussed on this weeks show was a nice surprise and made my week. Hope you all have a great weekend, stay safe and enjoy your down time, see you Sunday ?
Seems pretty obvious to me the ? Is going to be Trolls in the Pantry. They were always going to re release this classic.
Or maybe Battle cars
If they go Battlefleet Gothic to try and steal the thunder of A Billion Suns, they could always do Dark Future since the video game is (finally) a thing and Gaslands was such a runaway hit.
Brewhouse Bash, gotta be
Re release of the Judge Dredd floorplans would also be good
I love the kangaroos! Welcome to the weekend everyone!!
Ah ICQ. An internet comms tool that relied on remembering long numbers. Progress!
It’s the Roomineth.
Very nice.
Brigade models Belgium’s have the dog cart machine guns. Gotta get that
it’s a superb range, I wonder how much could go into an African force for the Congo
Good show Lads. Just on GWs ‘Kangaroo Cav, kangaroo legs don’t separate when they move because they jump, not skip or run.
In regards to their mystery game, they have plenty of options. In the fantasy IP they could go; Mordheim, Old World, AoS Warmaster, AoS MoW (just out of spite to screw with Amarda),
In 40k they could go; Space Hulk, Epic, BFG, 30K, Space Crusade, a 40k version of Underworlds.
Whatever you think about GW, they are the masters of re-inventing the wheel (well, repackaging it after a 10% price increase at least).
Still got fingers crossed for The Old World or Mordheim
I think a new Mordheim would be a great way to re-introduce the Old World. It’s set in the age of Magnus. It would allow GW to move away from all empire factions being identical. Then if the followed the Warcry! example, they’d change settings like the crusade against Araby, colonisation of Lustria, etc all at the same time in Warhammer history.
I kind of doubt they’d do a game set in a world that isn’t either AoS or 40K itself.
So if they do Mordheim it will likely be ‘Age of Mordheim’.
They’ve already announced they are relaunching the Old World so games in that setting are on the schedule already.
Remember “squats are gone. Never again etc” then “oh look squats and zoats in relaunches of games we said we’d never do again!”
they did announce that they are working on something for the ‘Old world’, which in theory could be a re-launch/reboot of warhammer fantasy battles. However I do wonder how much ‘extra’ we will get beyond that. I suspect it will be more like the Lord of the Rings stuff they do. It will exist in the background with the bare minimum of support, unless it suddenly become popular. Spending resources on something that is (for all intents and purposes) yet another fantasy setting ? I’d argue that this would also mean we’re getting an official 30k setting too … (anything… Read more »
Wow what a great price!
YAY weekender time again.
Hearing Warzan and Brother Lloyd talk about their computer club made me think about how I got into computing. Waaaay back in the mid-to-late-’80s, I ran a BBS (electronic Bulletin Board Service) called “Wild Imaginings”. It was dedicated to RPGs and gaming. It had forums (similar to what you see on websites today), and file areas, but it also had PBeM (Play By eMail) games – electronic versions of the (in those days) popular Play By Mail games. Users could only dial-in one at a time because it used a dedicated telephone line and every morning at around 2am, it… Read more »
I reckon the mysterious GW game will be Battlefleet Gothic or the old world.. Probably gothic
I agree, but I’m hoping for something Mordheim.
Mordheim would be excellent but I think maybe not thanks to Warcry. A revival of any of their old IPs would suit me fine.
Had missed that those Conquest minis were resin, and all unique. That’s a fantastic touch. Very impressed with Para Bellum.
The Bow-Chosen are pretty darn exceptional. Almost enough to get me diving into the game heh
the ships look great.
I’m putting my hat in the ring for the mystery game to be a re-release of that Battle of the Five Armies re-skin of Warmaster they did a while back, purely because nobody’s suggested it yet.
Either that or a 54mm 40k basketball game called Dunquisitor.
