An Introduction To Aetherium With Anvil Eight Games
January 10, 2018 by deltagamegirl22
Dawn sits down with Brian and Chris from Anvil Eight Games to talk about their miniatures game Aetherium.
This Sci-Fi game uses a gridded mat to build a setting within a digital world. The guys take us through the background and what the game is.
They also talk about the factions within the game and give you a little insight into which one might be for you.
Watch our demo of Aetherium from Adepticon 2017 here
Which faction do you think you’d side with?

the living sentient power sounds interesting.
Picked this up after getting a very brief tour of it at PAX: Unplugged at the end of last year. Not got around to playing it yet, but you get a ton of nice stuff in the core box, and the mechanics around manipulating the terrain tiles seems to be full of interesting tactical potential. Very cool world as well.
Are there good, high quality images of the minis available anywhere online? The ones on their official web store are all suffering in silence behind middling paint jobs, and BoW declined to highlight them in this video (despite their being out on the table).
Because that’s kind of make or break in a minis game for a lot of folks. Just sayin’.
Looking forward to seeing and playing with the Rommox faction at Adepticon. Dang, the other 2 upcoming factions sound cool as well.
Looks good, but then I saw price plus postage to Ireland = $144 so thats me out, does anyone know of UK distributer?
I wonder with a classical looking Mounted Samurai model already, will they have some more fantasy like models. Like Centaurs and Dragons. Looks interesting either way.
