The background ideas of both gaslands and ABS remind of somethings that GW and 2000AD were doing in the 80’s

Fine…. I bought it… also picked up a copy of frost grave and gaslands at the same time because ive never played/read them but people keep saying they’re good
yeah, so tempted to dive into these as well.
Generic systems with a focus on the DIY Hobby aspect may be the way to go.
Especially when combined with 3D printers there’d be no need for any ‘official’ models any more (unless they look cool)
you’re not wrong…. i’ve been to thingyverse and downloaded my favourite Star Wars ships to build into a fleet. that way I don’t need to buy armada ships at £30 a go
a great sounding game especially the fact the ships can be used for different ships depending on mission you have.
Bought A Billion Suns. Looks great. Breaking the mould(s), looks great but a long painting quest. A good play through would would be nice.
Nice interview. On the topic of tournaments it seems like the base concepts of ending up with the strongest balance sheet and multiple theaters of operation might lend itself well a type of tournament where you have one big game going with occasional “Shareholder reports” that eliminates those most in the hole. I’ve always found it interesting that Lovecraft, Howard and others formed a writers collective of sorts. It strike me how similar the “designer alliance” Mike, Ashe, Joe and other have formed is.
