My pocket book just melted.
and a thousand wallets screamed as if something terrible had happened … 😉
You cunning, cunning barstewards.
I’ll get my wallet.. 😀
wooo you don’t know how awesome this is for me, I actually did back originally but never noticed my card on Kickstarter had expired and by the time I got around to resolve it I was too late. This means I can jump back in!
Nooo!!! Can somebody lend me all the moneyz?
Lucky people, jump in, this is brilliant. I will be looking at picking this up on general release when I can afford to. 4Ground seem to know how to wet peoples appitites and then deliver.
Holy frickin’ cows! Is that why the BoW site was down a few minutes ago? The servers can’t handle this announcement!
My debit card is crying under the sofa, and won’t come out.
Are there any better descriptions of what each item is in backer kit? Like, what is in The Portsoken District, or what is in The World Of Fabled Realms? What do I need to choose if I want the game and some of the factions? Where can I go to find out more info on each item?
The kickstarter page ought to have them.
From what I remember it’s a number of buildings.

The Portsoken District is 3 ‘damaged houses’, 1 ‘damaged dwelling’ and a few trees.

btw : it looks like the sets are cheaper compared to ordering them from their website …
Hi beetle,
We will try and get some up from the kickstarter page, it should all be done by Tuesday as we still have to get back into the UK.
Thank you limburger for providing the link :).
Regards,
Cad
Great! I really want to know the name of the Teuden League art is. I would love to get a copy of that for the game room. Is it the Talhoffen Salute?
I hope this stays open for a week. This Friday is my pay day.
Oh cruel and fickle fate.
Um…..I have to talk to the Mrs…..
it may be better to ask for forgiveness 😉
There is no shame in begging….. if the end result is minis…
It’s for the cause, after all.
…for two causes, actually. One for the fun at home. And one, well, for miniatures gaming. 😀
Haha. Did not expect this.
doh!
Uh oh. I’m in trouble now.
need some help here has i am probably missing something used the link kindly provided by cad jeal which took to my pledge manager however does not appear to be any way to add to my original pledge ?
Hi darren2961,
We are going to look into this. We will be able to let you know what is happening.
Regards,
Cad
thanks cad really determined not to give in to my must buy miniatures syndrome and buy some of your beautiful terrain pieces and maybe some henchmen and a terror or 2
oh dear just realised i am weakening already:-)
NOOOOOOooooooo! I mean YES! Oh i don’t know! Maybe?
Need to catch up on day 2 and 3 and i’ll decide then
I wish I could jump in on this …..
I’ve just jumped in and bagged one of the Druggoi coven Terrors.
Had to get one after seeing them used in vids this weekend.
Can’t wait to unleash this beast on my Mordanburg table.
Will spread the message 🙂
must resist going to kickstarter…
so I can either buy a starter set with one fraction for 40 ore with two for 140? And why cost some extra cards 40 ??? why is there an option to choose between resin and plastic? Are the custom dice what we see on the picture or are we getting normal d6??? and why do most pictures still have the concept art and not the miniatur ???
not sure about the pricing because I’ve not read what is going into them, and I don’t work for 4Ground. As to your other questions it comes down to the fact that this is the pledgemanager reopened from the Kickstarter, so the options and graphics are are the ones from the KS. It’s not possible to amend it because once the campaign closes you can’t change anything. With that in mind; during the KS the idea was to go for PVC and allow people to upgrade to resin, this is not an option but is still stuck in the pledge… Read more »
My 32bits. As someone who spent the time on a Friday evening to print out and cut out all the Beta Kit materials the guys at 4ground were nice enough to provide, I think this is great for people who want to get stuck into the game. I played on my desk using proxy miniatures on Saturday. I Wish I had the chance at the time of the KS to get a better understanding of the game. That said, the only way I could late pledge is if they offered the “A Chance Encounter” pledge. I would need 2x starter… Read more »
There is a late backer kit on there with two starter sets and all the cards?
KS = £70, Late Pledge £140. At £70 I will take a chance to convince someone to go into this with me, at £140 not so much. Star Wars Legion I barely had to open my mouth and friends were going all in with me. This is a much harder sell for me. I can wait until retail or simply pass.
Regardless, it was a nice thing for 4ground to do even if it does not work for me and the beta print and play was a fun Saturday afternoon.
if it’s the minis you’re interested in you could get the two starter sets (well well worth the money on the pledge rather than waiting for retail and you didn’t hear that from me) If you’re just interested in the game, Ben is all about making it accessible for everyone. The rules, cards and choice to swap to d6 is entirely to get people playing. His mantra over the weekend has been, “we want people to play, and if they want to play with our minis and terrain that’s great, but they don’t have to.” So even if you don’t… Read more »
So, while I know many appreciate the kickstarter and everything, can I ask if this will hit retail at some point?
I have a local gaming store and I do like to buy from there whenever possible to make sure i continue to have one.
I think the plan is for this to go to general retail in late 2018. That right?
correct
Great move guys. Opening the pledge manager after such a great weekend will sure bring more peoples to the game. Will ask a few friends myself. Great event so far! 🙂
Great news.
I’m tempted to jump in for a few of the miniatures, just to check out the 3d printed stuff. Very curious about that.
I just have one thing to say, yay!
Just be aware that the stretch goals are NOT include on late pledges. At least they weren’t when I asked previously. Ended up not supporting because it didn’t seem worth it otherwise, at least to me. YMMV
Oh. Really? Good to know. Thanks for the heads up!
