Thanks very much. Got a LITTLE more to do on the vehicles, and of course lots on the troops. Hoping to get ready int time for the boot camp.
I see they criticized the skin was to pink when it’s obviously deliberate it was a new unit and this is sunburn pink like every Britt on holiday now ?
It’s all good, @zorg . Like it says in the text of that project, the troopers are far from done. I mean, even in the latest photos the three colors rifles aren’t even painted, much less equipment, socks, rank, other touch ups, bases, rank, etc. I usually block paint in much more garish, strong-contrast colors than I intend for the final product. This way, when colors are muted under a few washes and a dry brushing, I can hope they “land” on the target. Lol I was thinking its a base coat seen Romain using the same garish base type then dulling down over a few coats to the final results.
